Hello everyone. I had recently unlocked my bootloader a few days ago, planning on installing custom ROMs. I had installed CWM 6.0.2.7 o my Sensation XL while following this guide by Shingers5: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1466436
Accorind to the guide, after you unlock your bootloader and install CWM. if you wish to install custom ROMs you would have to first flash a Chinese bootimage and then a Chinese ROM. Instead, I had rooted the stock ROM on my phone. Anyway, I later decided to flash a custom ROM.
Before I flashed the ROM, I first flashed the Chinese ROM boot image and then the Chinese ROM through recovery. After the phone booted into the ROM, I rebooted into fastboot and flashed the other custom ROMs boot image, then the ROM itself. When I rebooted, the phone will not show anything past the HTC logo screen. I am in great disapointment with this ROM as of now. Yet, I still want to be able use it. Could someone, anyone possibly provide me a solution to fix this problem?

Hey guys,
I recently flashed my Z2 yesterday with the PAC-Man ROM and now want to try flashing other ROMs, but realised that my TWRP has disappeared!
Prior to flashing, I was on stock and used XZDR to flash the ROM, but i didn't flash the "Z2-lockeddualrecovery[VERSION]-BETA.flashable.zip" as I'm on an unlocked BL + custom kernel, which XZDR doesn't support.
I've tried two different methods to getting TWRP installed into my phone, one via fastboot flash recovery and the other via Terminal Emulator, and although the cmd/TE shows the commands and scripts running and all, the recovery does not seem to get installed.
So my question now is how do I get any form of recovery installed into my Z2 (so i can flash a ROM!). I know I can use flashtool to reflash stock firmware and go through the entire procedure again to get recovery and subsequently other ROMs installed, but that doesn't seem to be a sustainable long-term solution!
Thanks in advance guys
Non stock custom roms come with a custom recovery %90 of the time
Press volume up when the orange or purple led turns on when the sony logo shows
My phone got bricked while trying to flash TWRP. I missed TWRP version matching with installed OS. Now can you guys help to find a recovery image for 5.0.019s Indian Rom? That was installed last time my phone was running.
So a year ago or more, i install twrp on my oneplus x.
Custom rom all that!!
I got the galaxy s7 a month after it came out. Gave my oneplus x to brother, installed custom rom.
Now i am sitting here having problems.
i can't install roms nor restore stock recovery or rom.
i just get "Error installing zip file" "error 7" "lots of red text"
I have tried almost every rom and even the one i used back when it was working and it does not work.
Then i booted into fast boot and tried to check if the bootloader is unlocked, but it's locked.
Can't unlock it because there is no rom on the phone, only twrp version 3.0.0-1
Not sure what to do anymore
You have to upgrade bootloader (BLUpdater method on this forum) and then use recovery (https://dl.twrp.me/onyx/twrp-3.1.0-0-onyx.img.html) and roms compatible with it.
Give more details on what you want to do.
I used the "mega unbrick method" and phone is now working like normal..
I solved this myself!
Can i close thread ?..
Hey Guys! I have moto g2 2014 (titan) XT-1068 mobile phone..... I unlocked the bootloader and was even successful in flashing twrp .....but when i go to recovery via bootloader its not opening twrp showing only blank screen and the phone boots again... i tried to flash the twrp in different ways but still no luck!! Hopeful that i get a solution for this issue!
Btw i also need official stock ROM and recovery with gapps for my XT-1068 ...There are so many showing and i am doubtful to pick which one.... cause unfortunately before unlocking bootloader i forgot to see my build version, system info ...Now i need to relock my boot loader and flash the stock Rom to make it like a new one ...
EDIT- I Reflashed again and now twrp works fine ....but help me for the stock ROM ...currently using cyanogen mod 13..
Thnx !
I'm learning this as I go and making plenty of mistakes in the process...
Anyhow, I bought my J6 unlocked. I first tried to flash LineageOS 17 and ended up getting stuck in twrp recovery. I managed to flash a stock rom and can boot into android, but unfortunately I chose a vendor-locked stock rom. I've searched for ways to unlock it, but I'm not sure what to do next.
Can anyone help?
