Seems pretty stable to me, only bug I've found so far is that BBC iPlayer wont install (unknown error -24) and bluetooth connection to my car stereo is not great, (lots of pops and breakups) but useable (Edit - I believe that's the same for all aosp based 4.3 roms).

I will give that a go. It sucks to wipe and clear cache only to find out that the install won't go. I want my AOKP =( meeeeeh
UPDATE: Installation still failing.
2nd UPDATE: It appears that CWM did not want to flash this ROM. I flashed TWRP and it flashed successfully.

Oh no - just what we need...a butthawks fan! :silly:
I don't know any particulars, but I do know my trial and error indicates that certain AOSP ROMs give me the "Status 7" error when installing. To fix, I normally update CWM to the latest version, but when that fails, I have to flash TWRP. It is very strange and screws me up big time often!
Regardless, I am now on this AOKP and it feels like home! WOOT! It is awfully quiet on this thread though. What gives?!

there are two versions of CWM ul and ATT/US.. if you are flashing a ul international rom you need the correct recovery unless you edit some files in the rom. it is pretty easy to switch CWM from ATT to ul on the fly with rom manager if you get a status 7

Installation:
The latest Siyah Kernel and Touchkey Fix are already patched into this, and the assert script has been removed, so all you have to do is flash.
If you are coming from a different rom, YOU MUST DO A FULL WIPE!
If you are coming from a previous version of Hydrogen-ICS, you may just wipe cache and dalvik cache and flash the update, but a full wipe is recommended though not necessary.
If you encounter any problems, do a full wipe (data, cache, dalvik, and system) BEFORE posting your problem here.
FAQ:
1) How do I get BLN notifications?
Flash Siyah Kernel or Neak Kernel and use BLN Control to enable it.
2) Why is there no vibration on the lockscreen?
Paradoxxx decided to remove it. It may make a reappearance in a future version.
3) Does this have a modem? What modem should I use?
This does not include any modem. For a modem, visit http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1361393. FIgure out which modem works best for your area.
4) Where is my external microSD card?
It is located in /emmc or /mnt/emmc now. You should be able to access it both ways using Explorer.
5) Is external microSD card working?
Yes on this ROM it should be working perfectly. If its not working for you, try a full wipe or use this.

Nope I am not getting any phone crash. Did you come from the previous version? And if so did you do a full wipe? Did you install a different kernel maybe? Try clearing the phone app data or full wipe and reinstall. I successfully made and received several calls just now while checking on this.

Welcome to the Valhalla thread
This is a LeWa OS Port
Well, lets be straightforward. This is a port of the LeWa OS for our Galaxy S II. Its based on the latest stable CM 7.2. Since I've not got the opportunity to test stuff out, it's tagged as alpha. I've named it Valhalla.

Any Cm7 Kernel, there is one included in the zip if you'd like to use that then remove it from the zip and flash it. Or mjolnir kernel, doom (discontinued).
Wow! The upload might have to wait as my internet is cutting out due to a thunder storm :'( I'll keep you all posted. So due to weather conditions in my area the rom will not be uploaded until my internet is stable. So please come back in about 8 or 9 hours after I've slept and I've uploaded the rom.
Thanks for understanding

Cm7 is what I'm building now as that is what Lewa is built upon, If I were to attemp cm9 it wouldn't be Lewa, it'd be a mashup. But yeah I'll mess around with it for a while and see what I can do but I'm at work for the next two nights so there probably won't be much progress.
Ah, okay. That makes sense. Well the fact that you're attempting it is awesome. Good luck and thank you!

I will give it a go ive used it before. I cant test a lot of features for you though im going to be on airplane mode for the next 6 months
everything worked for me, 24ky tried cdma and i tried most of the features and they work, should have same bugs as cm10
@jose51197, six important patches were merged into the kernel at 8:15pm tonight (I think we are both in the same time-zone). If you haven't synced after that time, you will likely need to re-sync and re-compile. They are needed because of recent commits to qcom_display-caf which can cause the boot to hang if kernel doesn't have proper support.
To check:
Code:
cd kernel/htc/msm8960
git log
There should be six commits that start with msm_fb.

weird, you should report iton the twrp thread, that option touches nothing but /data and /cache so i dont see why it formats your sd, anyone else having this problem?
I have started building AOSP Eclipse once again! The initial builds will be very very vanilla. This first build that I am releasing is vanilla AOSP.
Big thanks to CM and dhacker as I am using their Motorola device trees and tweaks to get the build going!

I have added a few performance tweaks and App Ops to the build. Other than that it is currently just a plain vanilla build. For root access flash a SuperSU zip as I have not integrated Superuser into the build yet.
Notes
Haptic feedback for some events do not work. (navbar, long press, app drawer)

Just flashed Philz CWM and tried to flash it as well. Still fails to open zip.
Even when I try to extract the zip file on my computer it fails to open.
I would say you have a botched download. Try downloading again

I downloaded it 3 times.
Looks like it was a bad upload. New upload coming in about an hour
So is the blur based one dead?
And, as of now, is this just straight AOSP or does it have some moto x features in it (I.e. touchless controls, etc.)?

Why would I kill the blur based one? This is just vanilla AOSP at the moment. Nothing else.

OK I tried I may have done something wrong but I didn't have root I installed SU. When I came back to Eclipse 2,2 it says I have a Software update. I know it will fail because I have custom recovery. Is there anything I can do to help with it?

I stated it doesn't have root in the OP so nothing is wrong there. If you can download that zip and grab it from cache that would be awesome!

The aosp build is not rooted pre packaged yet as Nitro put in the OP.
For the update yes please get nitro the zip in your cache folder on the root of your phone after it downloads. That is what he needs.
Lol, nitro was too fast

I'm not sure I know how to do that give me some instructions and I'll try.
There is no download. Mine did the same thing after I restored a backup of the old ROM. I thought it was 4.4.2 so I flashed the stock recovery and took the OTA. But all it did was restart the phone and boot back up. No update what so ever.
