New lgms769 V10D_00 - LG Optimus L9 P760, P765, P768, P769

So I went to the metro store the other day about my texts rarely sending and calls dropping and he told me that tmobile is updating the network and so I did the LG mobile tool recovery upgrade and I noticed instead of V10B_00 It's now V10D_00 so they updated the lgms769 firmware,
Can anyone provide me with a hex edited. Bin for rooting the firmware.
Thank you in advance

Just wait a little bit longer, I'm about to upload my CWM backup of 10D.
You will need winzip or 7zip to extract it.
Another thing, editing the 11th bin is not that hard. You just have to study and think.

Well I updated but have no WiFi to use the offline flash method to go back to v10b I can't get root: (

Could you possibly make a lg backup so we could restore to have root, ie. Same as using lgpwn but manually put files in the ad card

You will still need wifi to download it and I don't know if creating an LG backup will work.
Follow this to root

I have the regular SuperSU
Sent from my LGMS769 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app

How did you remove the pesky Chinese superuser from rooting? I can't delete or replace it and normal supersu has to install binary every time I go back into it
Sent from my LGMS769 using xda app-developers app

Just install busybox (select smart install) or Robert busybox & artas182x cwm apk and restore my backup. Make a backup of your data, before restoring by backup

Did you remove the bloatware? I'm unzipping it right now

No I just removed the upsell apk. I'm currently running a deodex version, with the bloatware removed and nexus Google keyboard. I'll upload it tomorrow if you want. I plan on trying to theme it.

Yea I used Lgpwn the first time to root when I tried it this time I said restoring between different versions may not have 100% compatibility so when I rebooted I was still unrooted

Maybe you need to install SuperSu from market. Which L9 model you have?
Tmobile LG Optimuis L9

Install busybox, open it and install its binaries, then open SU and check if it comes up with an error message. If not, root should work fine now

When I open bushybox it gives me a message and closes

Sent from my LG-P760 using xda app-developers app
There is a problem with the superuser binaries. And it told me to uninstall and reinstall. Superuser. I did but it gives me the same error and then force closes

Odin is your friend.
No access to a computer. Also, wouldn't want to lose everything for 3 files.

(Q)OTA updates

So I flashed a rom on my phone and before that I created a backup of my stock rooted phone. Will OTA updates still be intact if I restore or will I need to re-enable them when unrooting? Sorry I am a noob lol.

You will still get updates on a stock rooted ROM.

SystemUI mod

I modded my systemui.apk and changed the layout of my toggles. No fancy stuff. Didn't mess with the images. I'm a little afraid to install the new file. I was wondering if it would give me a bootloop. Now since flashing the stock rom again is a long process, I want to ask if just flashing the original systemui.apk through recovery will be enough to overcome the bootloop, if I got one?:banghead:

A nandroid is always safer but I suggest you to just a flash another ui...... It'll save a lot of time
Okay. I've already created the update.zip with the original. I think I should be fine.
