S-Note app from Note3 has already been ported to S4 and to S3(I think). Any chance we might see it ported to Note 2 as well?

Yeah I've tried lots of different ways and came to the same conclusion. It starts and goes through setup procedures but fc when you try to write a note. Still think it may be possible and will keep looking but not holding my breath on 4.1.2

same here, I managed to create notes but failed to edit even a single page. could there be that some tool is missing?

I thought that. Or framework file maybe? I have noticed that it is linked to my magazine app as is note 3 splanner, video etc which is interesting

Here what i found, to make PEN.UP app working correctly and signing in or registering, u must have Samsung Account and -maybe- Samsung Market app on ur device which that not included in AOSP roms.
If u have sammy rom (with no bloat) just flash Samsung Market and sign in and u will be fine, for AOSP roms sorry i don't know coz i use sammy rom for 1 year now,
And for market, its not available for a lot of countries now, but it will be available for almost countries in next days / weeks, you can just download apk file from third post and setup it normally.

Maybe someone can just do the theming and make the current icons (that are alongside the text) just look like s5, rather than making the whole grid like settings app.

They have customized the framework in order to allow all their apps to take advantage of their TouchWiz UI. Very few apps can be ported to other devices, seeing as you are specifically looking for their app store, which requires registration and uses their framework, I doubt you will get a working version.
The response to get a Samsung device in this case, is very apt. Also, this is not the correct thread to post this in, ask a mod to move your post.

All apps i put in there work so far

Man I hope you get it! I'm on the T3 5.1.1 DOG1 deodexed Echoe Rom and I'd LOVE to have N5 tweaks apps and options vice upgrading to the N5 just yet!
