Hello everybody,
I am quite a noob, so I hope somebody can confirm what I found on my android phone (Galaxy S3) with Omega Rom Build v43.3-XXEMC3.
Since recently my adware scanner/blocker finds adware installed in Omega Files v3.17 / net.indieroms.OmegaFilesJB after which I block the adware. (doubleClick and Admob)
But what is worrying me most is this: Though I also blocked the Internet Access via 2G/3G and Wifi for Omega Files, every night Omega Files updates itself and installs the Adware again and again and again! This is absolutely unacceptable!
Is there anybody who can confirm this behavior of Omega Files? And has anybody an idea whether i can safely remove Omega Files and how this can be done?
Because this dir net.indieroms.OmegaFilesJB looks empty and it is impossible to remove or deactivate Omega Files in Google Play (I can browse my phone with SSHDroidPro from my Mint OS)
Or is it better to completely remove Omega Rom?
I hope somebody can answer my questions?

Hi,
At first I want to thank the whole team of xda and the indie's development for rom the omega V23 with jellybean. this is a wonderful work
Subsidiary question: Is there a way to stop the audio commentary when opening a folder on the desktop of TouchWiz on the Galaxy SIII with Omega V23 : "the folder is opening / the folder is closed" ?
(of course, without stopping playback completely for others applications)
This is very annoying when using the phone in transit.
Thank you for your help.
Hi All.
I've recently flashed JB 4.1.2 (Samsung stock) onto my Galaxy S II and rooted. This was an upgrade from Gingerbread 2.3.6.
The JB rom has AllSharePlay and AllShareControl both of which are awful. I would like to re-install the original AllShare either 1.2 or 2.0.0.
I have the apks for these (1.2 deodexed and 2.0.0 odexed I believe).
I have tried placing these in /system/app, setting apt permissions and rebooting, as I understand is required with system apps like this.
1.2 seems runnable but then FCs after a second or two.
2.0 does not seem to install.
I have also tried installing these from zips in recovery mode both of which fail.
I have also tried recovering the Allshare 2.0.0 from a Titanium Backup taken from the old Gingerbread system. Needless to say this was unsuccessful
Can anyone help with this issue?
Or can anyone point me to a deodexed version of AllShare 2.0.0
Please don't suggest other DLNA apps like BubbleUPnP, iMediaShare etc, these are not what I'm looking for.
Cheers in advance.
Allshare on jellybean ...?
Bump.
Any help.
Allshare on jellybean ...?
I'd like to do the same.
Have SII, upgraded to JB 4.1.2. Want Allshare, not AllShare Play.
Please help.
Allshare on jellybean ...?
Bumping again...This must've be doable? Surely some genius ROM kitchen has managed this already...?
Hi again. I was wondering how would i deodex the stock 4.1.2 samsung rom in S3? I would like to deodex it by myself because i like the samsung goodies it has, BUT i would also like to change themes using XthemeEngine so i tried one theme called "Blacked Out" but it just changed the notification icons and nothing else, i just made a try but i know that in this state is impossible, so i searched how to deodex stock roms, and i've found this:
http://technologic101.wordpress.com/2012/07/24/tutorial-how-to-deodex-a-stock-android-rom/
After following the basics steps, i get stuck on 3) : i won't deodex any app even if i remove several .odex files from /oirigi_app, but it's always the same. So, i guess i need a proper method for the GT-i9300, any ideas?
If it were by me...i would just install an already deodexed custom rom...but the last time i tried, i had problems with connectivity, i think it was because the default modems weren't compatible with my region, right? So unless i know how to install the proper modem i won't install any custom rom yet. (However..., when i tried Siyah Kernel Dual Boot option for the first time with UltimaRom, it worked fine and i could connect even to Mobile Data from my operator, but if i try to install UltimaRom as my main rom, it would refuse to connect...)
I hope there will be luck, thanks in advance!
hello, as the title says it has presented me a compilation bug when installing .100 jelly beam because after a while longer recognize the internal memory of the phone so it will not let me install apps that require passing data this location, try changing the external for the internal Volf.tab by editing that file or as I call it but the same problem persisted, I should mention that I use the foldermount not if it will cause some kind of bug, but ICS use for more two months and I never present a problem, would appreciate if anyone could comment something about me just add that this happens in the world unbranded version .100 in custom as xperience or Jbeanz not occur roms.
sorry my bad English but I am using the google translator
Hi,
I have currently a rooted Android 7.0 Samsung Galxy S6 Edge and I would like to get rid of bloatware, but I'm not an experienced user regarding Android and installed apks (i.e. what apk has what function). I know how to delete the system apks but there are so much apks I might or might not delete so a lightweight ROM would be nice.
Unfortunately all famous ROMs don't support S6...I'm not sure if it's deciding.
Can someone suggest a lightweight rom, preferably for Android 7. Don't have to be an official ROM...a stock rom with rid of blotware would be ok too
Thanks in advance
i use all custom rom but the perfect rom is
