I have recently rooted my Galaxy S2 to use the proxy network at my college. I tried different applications to set global proxy on my phone. But all of them including ProxyDroid could not not help me in making applications like ChatON, Line, Kik Messenger etc work on the proxy network. What is the problem? Why these chatting applications are not using the global proxy enabled through ProxyDroid. Other applications like Hangout, Whatsapp etc work fine. But problem is associated with some of the chatting applications as mentioned above. Is there anyone who is able to use these applications using proxy network?
Same issue here.... Proxydroid works with most of the applications on my phone, but for some others it doesn't, viber is one of them.... Any help with this will be great. I'm on a Galaxy S4 on 4.3

Only Whatsapp works for me :/
Can't Stream neither audio or Video .. and other chatting Applications such as Viber , KIK doesn't work...
No one's here who have same problem using proxydroid on their S2's ???
Its literally become difficult to use these apps on Wifi Network which are Proxy Protected...

I am mostly interested in Live Messenger and Google Talk.
Are there any native applications for these networks ?
If not, what are the suggested apps for both IM networks.
I'd prefer to use apps which are officially supported by either the IM network or Dell.

there's tons that work, doubt any are supports or endorsed though.
Personally I settled on nimbus as it does all the networks I use..

As Android is google's OS, I'd think we should have Gtalk natively.
And I dislike all-in-one IM clients.

yes there is gtalk..
it should be built in..

I personally use meebo as I haven't had much trouble with it at all. It supports multi client too such as msn, yahoo and aim. I have also used fring it was great as I can video call using skype but now since skype removed there service from fring I haven't used it.

Currently the free account is only available to UK users without an invite. Here is a workaround for it. WARNING- lots of popups when using the proxy site...just close them out and it works fine. http://lifehacker.com/5821234/how-to...hout-an-invite

i just developed one simple database app in RADPHP xe2, its a simple app which connects with mysql database on my webserver , and fetches one field and a list box is populated, it works fine on my browser, it even works perfect when i usb debug on my galaxy tab, it even works perfect when i deploy to apk via phonegap build, but when i edit my mysql database and then again run the app , it shows the old records and new records are not fetches, that means its showing me snapshot of my data, how to get live data via my app. Please guide.

hi to all J have an application that allows sending sms and mms from pc. I am under the Roma edyoblue Adroid 6.01 Everything worked but since June more means send mms picture WITH .. I use a custom chinese rom which is very good except for that issue,
I think the developer put some code for that
can I modify that?
