Downgrade Xperia Go - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

Hi guys. I'm new to android world. I'd like to ask for some help.
Actually i have sony xperia go with JB 4.1.2 and as you already know i face serious performance issues with my phone specially with the calls.
Most of the times my phone is freezing and this is very annoying. I'd like to advice me how to downgrade in a stable version (any guide available for newbies?) which make the phone to works smoothly. If i remeber correctly 2.3.7 was one of the best.
Currently my phone has:
Android version: 4.1.2
Build version: 6.2.A.0.400
Thanks in advance

just download which version u want to install FTF file n install it via flashtool .. n done enjoy...
i upgraded to ics n downgrade to gb tested on xperia u

To be honest i don't even know what is FTF file and how i can install it via flashtool. Any guide?
What version do you advise which is works smoothly for my phone?
Thank you very much

Go into Xperia Sola development section (you have sola, right?), there you find threads like [ICS][FTF] Official ftf... you can flash it without root - using flashtool - you will get unofficial official update.

Once u have the ftf file and flashtool
Install flashtool in any drive lets say c drive
Go to c / flashtool / firmware
In the firmware folder place ftf file
Now go to c / flashtool / driver
And install driver for xperia sola
Now open flashtool
( make sure ur device is off and not connected to ur pc)
Click on thunder icon
Select flashmode
Select ftf file
Check on exclude ta
Also check no final verification
Now click flash
Flashtool will ask u to Connect phone
Now pick up ur SWITCHED OFF phone, press the VOLUME DOWN button... Keep the volume down button pressed.. And connect the usb to ur phone
Flashing will start ( once flashing starts leave the volume down button) and let it finish
Click to collapse
Thanks to Dr. Sanket for this

Then follow the instructions I gave you.
