Hi DEV....
I'm going to Port Rom Samsung galaxy Ace duos (S6802) to Samsung galaxy y duos(S6102).
And this is my result:
1. Wifi, Data, Bluetooth, GPS, and other is OK.
2. All aplication is running OK.
But I have problem with this:
1. Media scanner (SDcard) running very fast.
2. Force Closed: "proses android.process.media stopped"
3. My SDcard Unavailable. but at USB storage.
4. Galery and Musik, no image and no musik.
5. No widget available
Please, help me, how to fix that?

I thing,... you need replace new google apps (GAPPS) and:
- edit vold*** on system/ect
- replace init.rc on boot.img
- replace *USB* and *vold* on ramdisk (boot.img) if you have..

are ur fw DXLC1, this is for DXLC1 - stock rom coz with me this theme no problem and worked until now

Hello guys! I've compiled the Stock Kernel for the Player 4.2 and changed only one line in it. (Thanks to XDA_Bam!) It seems very smooth to me, please post your results. The Source Package was named WW (maybe WorldWide?), it's working on my EU Player.

Hmm just wondering, you do know that when you flash something to the wrong block, it can possibly lead to a brick. The reason I ask this is because the block you use for flashing isn't the good one. (msm_sdcc.1). You would better be good with mmcblk0p5. (which I think is the kernel partition).

Should have the same effect like overclocking 200Mhz, for me it's running smoother than before.

The device rom ur porting should have same specs like grand 2
things needed
1.windows
2.notepad ++
3.win rar
Delete some folders from base
Code:
base/system/app
base/system/fonts
base/system/framework
base/system/media
base/system/priv-app
and paste from port
Code:
port/system/priv-app
port/system/app
port/system/fonts
port/system/framework
port/system/media
Now copy some important permissions and init.d files
Code:
port/system/etc/permissions
platform.xml
handheld_core_hardware.xml
handheld_hardware.xml
to base /base/system/etc/permissions
now go to port/system/etc/init.d
and copy

00banner
to base/system/etc/init.d
Now open the build.prop of both ROMS. Replace the values infront of following
lines in base from port
change frm port to base

Edit meta inf

Now zip rom and flash

Can you (@adityaupreti) port some few features of one rom to another for me, as I don't have knowledge of these stuff as I am a noob, please.
Features like- private mode, notification panel, emergency mode.
Both roms are for grand 2 running kitkat base so I thought it will be easy for you.
One is S6 Styled S5 Port Rom from which these feature will be available and working, and another rom is Note 4 Alpha S6 Revolution.

I saw your post...
I was going to ask you witch was your problem...
I never had bootloop issues...just sometimes the device would do that but pulling out and in the battery and starting the phone again would have solved the problem...
If you know anyway I could create a ROM from my device...even if I think it's impossible because of Android Lollipop...

I´s possible ! I´m doing it right now but will take like 4 to 5 days.
If I am able to build the rom it will work on your device.
