Anyone knows if Slimbean 4.3 (v1.2) has MHL/HDMI enabled?

SlimBean 4.2.2 build 6.5 had it implemented in m7xx (whatever phone that might be ) and with build 7 it was implemented in (normal?) M7.
The Galaxy S2's hardware supports it (with Sam's original rom). So it should be possible to take that code (driver?) and implement it in SlimBean (or whatever Rom you want for Galaxy S2).
Am I wrong?

If it could be done it would of bin done. Tw framework would be needed to.
BTW it's gt m7xx by Samsung.

Thanks for answering. Would it work again if I were to go back to Samsungs official stock 4.1.2 VJMS3 ?
And if so, would you think I could keep root?

MiUi with XXUFME7 base

Is there any specific problem using samsung base rom for porting MiUi.
I'm asking this because there is samy based 4.1.1 and CM 10.1 based roms but no rom with samy 4.2.2 leaked base.
Also if someone has any tut. how to do it - i will gladly like to see it

yeah i get it but i don't think it is possible because 4.2.2 is just a beta release.

KitKat 4.4 ROM

Hello is there any 4.4 ROM for Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1?
Not yet, but some developers are working on it. How soon they will come out with it is not known. We are keeping our fingers crossed.

I haven't found a 4.4, but I am currently running omni 4.3 with the GEL and it is one of the most stable and smooth roms I've had on this old girl.

Omni-ROM, based on Kitkat 4.4.2 got released recently for the P4 and P4wifi.
They say, the microphone and camera aren't working yet, but curiously I could call someone with the new native calling-app.
I had the modem flashed before...
I wiped system, cache, dalvik cache and data (apps).
I installed Omni-Rom based on Android 4.4, for the P4 and the suggested KK-GApps.
I even switched to ART and changed a few settings for my needs...
I connected my headset, chose a number and called the friend... I turned on and off the "speaker" and "microphone", so I'm not yet sure, if this caused some triggering, or re-initialisation...
Anyway, I can't post yet into the DEV-Forum, cuz I just registered and don't match the minimum requirements,... ^^
I have an issue with user profiles. When I create a restricted profile, the profile will be completely empty. Just a black screen with the three buttons on the bottom.

My only problem with kitkat rom is the configuration of an exchange mail account. Someone was able to do it?
The kasper_h rom is very smooth and fast. For me the only reason for not use it is what I said before.

Use MacKay Omni ROM KK by kasper_h/aaccount
This ROM is now stable and works for the most part. I have not tested 3G yet. Will update once I get hold of a SIM.

Is your tab p4 or p4wifi?
If p4, did your phone functionality work with the Kasper_h ROM?

Mine is and as long as you flash the new modem, it works properly for sure...
If you've already flashed the modem, you can simply update your ROM/System-partition and are good to go!

I had kasper's omni kk4.4.2 installed and camera worked fine for me, I never tried mic though

I9103DXLP2 is, what I use... (but seems to have some kind of disconnect/mute-issue, if I let my tab go into standby).

I can't help you, sorry, my SIM is only for data. I'd never updated the modem rom and therefore the phone functionaliy is not working.

This ROM works extremely well on our aging device. Big thanks to kasper_h and Aaccount for this ROM as well as pershoot for all to our tab.

I just installed omni kk4.4.2 and its a great rom, coming from CyanogenMod and wont look back again. So thanks guys for this little gem....

I have experienced cm11 kitkat for s3 and device has much better performance,RAM,etc.,but i'm missing so much goodies from samsung touchwiz.

I switched from TouchWiz to CM 10.1, then to CM11 then to SlimKat, and I don't think I'll be back. The phone works so much better, I just can't compare. I didn't even try the 4.3 Samsung put out.
I think TouchWiz has some nice things, but the bloat is too heavy. CyanogenMod or SlimKat make this phone great.

Do you know if there is any new development project going on? Any ROM? Is there someone trying to port the samsung kitkat rom?

There are dozens of roms based on kitkat 4.4.x .... you have to orient yourself on CyanogenMod or AOSP roms.

[Galaxy S2] How to update CM 12.1 to CM13? Is it compatible?! READ FIRST PLEASE?

My phone model before any update:
Model: Korea version, Galaxy S2 SHW-M250K
Android version: 2.2.3
Changed it to: ICS I9100
Android version: 4.1.2
then updated again to
ROM: CM 12.1
Andriod version: 5
Recovery: CWM-KitKatCompatible-i9100
What i want:
Wants to update it to CM 13 or Pure AOSP Marshmallow 6
I'm new on this phone rom thing. But somehow managed to update it after long long explore.
My question:
1. Is both compatible?
2. If it's compatible how to update? Which recovery should i use?
3. I'm still using CWM recovery. How to change it?
4. Whats different between pure and cm ROM? Is CM better or pure marshmallow? Actually i want to use pure marshmallow but is it possible? Whats good of CM 13?
