Go to settings>accounts & sync>facebook
View attachment 2287939
Then choose on for live feed. It should show up on blinkfeed. Hope I helped.

The files missing are probably facebookengine.apk and twitterengine.apk but I don't know how to get them working on a rom post-install.
copying them to system/app doesn't work.

Does anyone know if there is a Facebook for HTC sense widget like the Twitter one? If so, why is that not included....

Just use friendstream widget. it can show both facebook and twitter or both. Same as twitter sense
I'm using friendstream but it seems to scroll slower than just using twittersense alone... Oh well, it'll work...

I found a thread leading me to the AOSP calendar apk which "works" but doesn't contain the widget nor does it allow me to select which calendars to sync as it force closes.
Does anyone know how to get the AOSP calendar AND widget along with full functionality?
Thanks!
Bump. Cmaaaaaan!

The aosp calendar doesnt have a month view widget only a little 1x1 for upcoming events, you will need to find something on the market for that, android pro widgets is a good one.
It doesn't have a month view but it's 2x1 not 1x1. Using the one from above still gives me the Samsung Agenda widget which I hate.
I've tried that one and I still get a FC every time I try to modify the calendars. You don't?

Nope no force closes here. What rom are u using? Did u set permissions correctly when u pushed it to system?
Android pro widgets from the market gives a good calendar widget and its free.

Still get a FC when I try to select calendar within the app. I pushed it to system/app using File Expert and changed permissions to all read and owner write.

Anyone else reading the manual and notice there's supposed to be a Facebook chat app built in to this phone, that I presume htc made? There is a widget....but there's no way to get into the app unless the widget is on your screen lol...the manual states that there should be a shortcut to it under all apps but there's def not...hmm...

imo, facebook's messenger app is so much better
Yeah which I don't see the point in because the Facebook app has built in chat anyway lol I was just curios why there's a widget but no app even tho the manual says there is.

I use Go launcher and ADW launcher, and those apps icons are there, but not when using Sense

So I figured it out download es file explorer and go to system apps and find Facebook chat app and (make sure you have open space on a home screen) once your into systems apps and Facebook chat app in es file explorer long press the app and select add shortcut and then check a home screen and you'll see the app.

They aren't shown in Sense for some reason but they do on other launchers.
I know there is a FBchat widget which is useful

Why isn't Google plus part of blinkfeed? You would think an android device would have Google apps built into it right? Or is this just me?
Sent from my HTC One using xda premium
Because blinkfeed is an HTC app.

I do wish that blinkfeed had support for Google plus and other rss sources. Ever since Google changed the widget, I haven't browsed Google plus as much as I used to. I really don't know why Google removed the scrollable fullscreen widget.
