I'm a newbie here, but before anything else i wanna first thanks to all of you for the hard works you've done 2 make this site more helpful.
I bought a SE x8 just recently. searching for a good apps. came across here
and finding my self rooting my x8 and installing new custom rom(floyo mini CM6-2.2.5) the fone run flawlessly except for few things
1. pinch zoom wont work
2. Can't install flash player
what should i do:
do i have to upgrade my new rom?
or i done wih error?
any help would be appriciate

hello there sir, im really trying to install minicm7 pro on my x10 mini pro but theres something wrong, after the boot, the touchscreen wont work, i cant seem to touch the android ( for the first boot)
i know its kinda stupid question but i cant find the right thread. so please sir , help me. i really nid your help. T_T

What version you have installed?
do you have same firmware and baseband provided that ROM?
Im trying v20 of minicm7pro, yes i do have the same baseband and kernel version,
ive tried gingerdx pro it was ok, but with minicm7pro im having a problem.T_T
Hello , just pulled my Sony ericsson xperia arc x12 out of the draw , and cant remeber the lock code , so i tried to hard reset , but dosent work , but read that u maybe can root it ? , just dosent have a clue how to do it , or even if it can be done?
Is there a guiden for dummies og something like that ?

I found many links to download the ftf file (android ICS 4.0.4) for xp mini pro SK17a and SK17i and many other models, but nothing for the U20i! ... anybody have some links or infiormation about it ?

There is no official ICS firmware for our devices, SE never even gave us a frozen yogurt, so the only way to get ICS on your phone is either MiniCM9 or this one, which is based on ICS sources.
Oh, I thought that you was searching a kernel for android 4.0.4 . The thread i gave include's a link to a kernel that support android 4.0.4 (CM9).

Nope, sorry, the SK17i runs on a newer SoC than ours, and they're not compatible.
You would have to recompile it all from source, which is what the provided links have already done for us , they are really the only options for our phones.

Can any one please suggest how i can upgrade Xperia mini pro U20i to ics. I have tried all process in this forum but i am unable to flash a security error is coming while doing that.
Please suggest.

Hi guys, I'm new here. I recently bought new xperia mini pro u20i and I don't really like the old OS in it. Thought to upgrade to ICS but the problem is that I'm not experienced at all in these android update&upgrade things. (I'm mostly a computer guy ) I've read instructions how to upgrade etc.. but I'm not risking do it alone although I rooted my phone few hours earlier (whatever that means ) I need someone experienced to show me either on Skype or any other IM step-by-step how to upgrade my OS before I go crazy about it ICS seems like a cool upgrade and I want to try it out. Reply here or PM me, doesn't matter. Please just help me to accomplish this task. Appreciate it. Thanks in advance ))

Start thinking of your phone as a computer... It will make things easier.
Root access (which is easy to come by on Windows, but usually needs a password on linux) allows you to tinker with your system-files.
And there is a tutorial around here somewhere, where the poster has gone through the trouble of making screenshots for every step needed, so maybe you could search for that.
hi,please help me,I have xperia mini with locked bootloader,i wrongly flashed xperia mini pro rom via clockwork mode for locked bootloader.After flashing that rom the screen was working but not fine.then i flashed official rom through flashtool as well as sus,but touchscreen is not working,please tell me what happend is it software issue or hardware damage???please help me thanks
