Just ran antutu. Everything stock except I'm rooted but I haven't changed anything other than cosmetic stuff.

That's a speedtest. Not a benchmark. Benchmarks are taken with Quadrant and Antutu.

Well yea i suppose so [i know that was the thread's intent], but benchmarking applies to speeds of all types really.

My LG G2 vs the Xperia Z1.. Z1 is sloooooooooooooooow
I've never bothered much with benchmarks before, but I've also never had a phone that was this powerful so I gave it a go last night.
I'll play along, except I use 3D Mark.
Waiting for proof that my buddies 5S did over 19k.
Dang how did you crack 17?
Sent from my beast
Said I was 14 in the top 20? That just don't sound right, does it? Figured there would be hundreds of devices ahead

I ran with the performance governor, I also changed the scheduler and tweaked that. Don't know how much credit goes to each.
Oh okay I ran with performance but didn't mess with the scheduler so maybe it did help

Why do we need so many "Benchmarks" threads? There's one already http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2442467 Will we make a hundred more maybe?

Would you guys who are on t-mobile looking for new modems be interested in maybe lower speeds but more consistency, and lower ping? I'm admist creating a couple of new modems for us and was interested if it was just brute speed you guys were looking for.
As for AT&T anyone interested in other modems? Maybe ones that don't support LTe ( a lot of people don't have LTE where they live, or prefer battery life so don't use LTE), or maybe ones with LTE&HSPA combo.
let me know guys. Its quiet a good feeling seeing you guys get better speeds and such on your phones.
I would be interested in slower but more consistsnt speeds.

I'm interested in not having lte. My phone constantly switches at my house not picking up a solid lte connection and its draining my battery.

Okay so I'm suprised I haven't seen one yet but this can be where we charge our quadrant standard test scores tell us what Rom and if there are any tweaks! This is from stock rooted no overclocking

Seriously. I don't even know why I rooted mine. I'm not really a flashaholic. I guess i rooted it just to say I rooted it. Might just unroot it seeing how I like everything about the stock. Battery life isn't even a problem.
Actually, the only reason I wanted to root mine was for the wireless tethering but as soon as I rooted it and went looking for the tethering apk I found out that there's an unrooted, free wireless tether app. Amazing.
I seriously love this phone. I can't imagine it being topped.
It can be topped when it is running Jellybean... :-D

I also turned it on out of the box and did the basic setup and then installed Quadrant never rebooting or anything in between all that and running it if that mattered.
Oh hey the ECO mode slows it down allot just ran one with that off and scored 7658
I do not know how to take a screen shot
Congrats on getting the fastest phone (for now) on the planet To take a screenshot, just open quickmemo and tap save.

Wondering what type of performance everyone is getting with their LGOG.
Please post some performance tests if you have them, and include which ROM you running, etc.
I'll start with my AnTuTu benchmark score. Running SnowJB v1.1

the s4 is rumored to have the snapdragon 600 for u.s. version so if thats true then yes it'll be better than our LGOG.
these are my 2 benchmark scores that i did.
Just debloating and installing snowjb and it outran stock og.
Sent from my LG-E970 using xda app-developers app
Looks like even the s4 won't be much better.

SnowJB ROM is JB...that's the rom the guy above ran his benchmark with.
Who cares what the benchmarks are. We ALL know this phone is the fastest on the market right now. Dont need tests to prove it or reassure ourselves.

If you don't like the conversation then don't comment in the thread. There was nothing wrong with this thread till you bring your negativeness into it.

Honestly I did the n4 conversion as you can see, this phone is amazing. I like the lg stock ROM but I'm a aosp guy. So the device alone tho is great, camera is not bad once you fix it.. And sound is good. All in all love it. Had the note 2 and s3 both great devices, but this is better. The screen alone is the best
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda premium
Anybody know why benchmarks are much lower on the conversion phone? It certainly seems fast. I'm just curious.
What are the benchmarks on converted phones?

That's interesting. I don't know why and I am sure you probably won't notice a difference with daily usage such as emails, texts, browsing, etc.

The higher score is with 4.2.2, lower score is with 4.3, anyone have any idea why this is happening.

Mine actually went up over 1,000 points. Maybe you should clear your cache and try again?

It is strange of having such issue. I will put an eye on it.
