I can't wait either, but why ICS and not JB? Just curious I am gonna still give this a shot when it's avalible. Also is CM installer gonna work with our devices.

I've been busy moving so I haven't had time to mess with it. If we get cm9 booting cm10 will boot with little to no change and we can work from there.

Hope this all works out soon. My L9 went dead (I have unlocked BL and was on CM). The replacement came with unlockable BL. So this is my only hope to run CM again on my L9 now.
yes if it works on cm9 then cm10 will be a cinch to modified and install.
and we can start with cm9 ics and probably make a cm9.1 then make cm10 work and so on.
i should be getting my new l9 tomorrow so ill start working on it again.

Well here it is, my progress on aosp, posting here since it boots, no statusbar or anything, got to do a lot of job in it, right now we have a lot of glitches no download till we solve a lot of them

yeah because its made of some htc parts with it for it to boot with htcs kernel, since me and litetaker couldnt compile a working kernel

just notifying that this is not dead ive been working in miui this time, when miui is functional youll get cm9 as well since im gonna use that as base, you might know by the time im posting this miui has progressed a lot and is 90% functional if not 100%

Hi, a while back before I installed CyanogenMod on my device I was running a stock 2.2 rom on my rooted g5.
For the fun I decided to modify framework.apk to change the status bar and stuff like that, I also edited settings.apk to match and added some apps into system apps. Anyway my point is would anyone be interested in turning this into a custom rom? Would people want to flash it? The idea is to have all the stablity of stock with better looks and features. We could call it 'StockMod G5' or something. Good idea? Bad idea? Leave your comments below on what you think, it might be stupid I don't know

Hi Venkatraman, this rom will most likely be updated in early February, I have like 1 test build but its not complete and I have but development of it on the side as I am launching another rom in January based on CM7.2. When my 7.2 rom is lauched I'll go back and finish this

the root is permanent. lately we have been replacing the 6th bin file during kdz actual flashing process. this bin file i guess contains super su and necessary files for root. markolino is another member who has created cm9 for locked bootloader l9 p760 ask him as well how he got around this block.

Tested the ROM and the bugs match those of the AOKP and CM10.1 Roms. He's working on it guys and testers (like I) have given him feedback. Don't want to release a ROM full of bugs and have pages of people reporting them.

The theming is SICK. Its a complete theme, rather than those from the play store.
We have a great one coming guys
