Just because your phone is unlocked does not mean you can flash roms. You need to have your phone rooted. There are many threads that can help you with that

Flashing a rom on a SIM unlocked device will not re-lock the device.

Yes (SIM unlocking your device is based on your IMEI, which of course will not change after flashing a rom - even stock).

Can I still sim unlock my s2 if I'm running a custom rom?

Hi,
I wonder if anyone knows if running a custom rom on the S2 would stop me being able to sim unlock it?
Thanks

Why?
IMO doesn't make a difference for unlocking ... only if it is a special feature of the custom ROM to prevent SIM unlock.
Read the descritption of the custom ROM, and if there is nothing about it, it should behave like stock ROM for unlocking.
P.S.: If you want to unlock your phone, why don't you unlock it before flashing the custom ROM?

Basically I have sold phone and the person who bought it tried to take it to a high street unlocker and they couldn't do it because it was running a custom rom.

Can I get stock Marshmallow on Moto E UK?

As title really, can't really find a definitive answer.
It was a UK Tesco handset but unlocked to all, and still running the standard Moto stock firmware.
Any help would be appreciated.
Regards

I need to unlock bootloader and root for that though don't I? I don't want to root as I use banking apps/Sky Go and I will lose those.

You can unlock bootloader, install TWRP and install 6.0 stock rom without rooting.

That was what I was afraid of when I bought it from GearBEAST having a fake rom. How do I go by flashing rom with test point and do i have to have the bootloader unlocked?
Thanks

Does ur phone worls only in 4G?
Test point was unnecessary in this case.
When phone has fake rom it bricks when updating.
About the problem I have no idea, sorry.

Flash H830 rom to H831

i found this custom rom named LinageOS and i want to try but i only found a version for h830, can i use it to my h831?
You can't unlock the bootloader of the h831, so flashing twrp and custom roms is not an option.
