Hi guys I just installed the latest version of Wanam's ROM. The issue I'm facing is that all the apps I install go to the Internal Memory(2.1GB) rather than the Media or Internal Memory card which is 12.3GB. I don't have an External SD. I know I have to change some values in Vold.fstab file but whenever I make some changes in it, my phone get's stuck on the boot screen. Any help is appreciated.
Hello,
I was very excited about the last update of Google Play Music which finally allows using external storage (SD card) for saving offline copies of music files. However, after upgrading to the new version (5.3), I found out that this option is not available on my phone. I tried couple of usual steps (clear data, uninstall the app, clean all the folders while uninstalled) but the options is still not there. I didn't try a wipe or a different ROM yet.
I found mentions related to the fact, that the external storage option in Play Music is unavailable on phones, which don't have any external storage. I'm wondering if this can be the reason - the app is not able to find the external storage. Note that all other apps (including system ones like Camera) have no trouble locating and saving to my 16GB SD card.
I would like to know if there is someone more knowledgable who can guess how the app detects external storage - maybe a symlink or something can fix the issue? Anyway, I would be grateful for any ideas as to the nature of this.
Device: Samsung Galaxy S Advance (GT-I9070)
Android version: 4.2.2 (TouchWiz based ROM) by Woft, rooted
Thanks in advance for any replies.
Hello there.i have been unable to install some apps from playstore as well as apks.i have noticed that those apps that hav eseparate sd data install
Whereas others with only apk built in data give application notninstalled error.
Anyone?
Software too, or just some stop you?
No worries m8 solved it on my own.....just to swap the internal and external partitions and everything works but thanks alot...
I just moved to this great ROM: [ROM][4.1.2][UB]SlimBean Unofficial Build(Stable#2) [FINAL BUILD] [Source-built]
However, I'm not able to move any applications from my Xperia P internal storage (which is only 2GB) to the internal (or emulated) SD-Card any more. In the original Sony stock ROM, I had the option to put some apps on the SD card via Settings -> App Settings. On SlimBean this is not the case any more. Is this by design?? Because that really annoys me.
Furthermore, I use Google Play Music and it won't allow me to save music on the SD Card in it's settings. Something must be wrong, but I just can't figure out what. I also tried fiddling with mounting settings in system/etc/vold.fstab but no luck there.
Any help is appreciated!
