I have a rooted Thunderbolt. I have occasionally used the alarm clock function of the clock with no problems. Recently when I tried to set the alarm I found that in the deskclock view the alarm clock icon where I would set an alarm is greyed out and I can't set an alarm. I have looked through all of the settings and I don't see anything that looks like I can turn this function on or off.
Any ideas???

I used to be able to dismiss my alarm clock by sliding down the bar, just like unlocking my phone. Yet recently I noticed that I only get a two button thing "snooze" and "dismiss" when my alarm goes off rather than the slider. How can I change it to the slider? I have also recently gotten Lockbot Free. I tried disabling it (not uninstall) but it did not work. Any ideas?
Thx.
hi guys,
i'm slowly getting used to my galaxy s2. But one of the important features i need is an alarm clock. I find it difficult to get up in the morning, so if an alarm clock simply has a snooze button, that when touched turns off, then that is no good for me.
I'm looking for an alarm app, which has a snooze button that only turns off when i slide it or something like that.
Can anyone please recommend any?
The stock built-in alarm clock has a slide to snooze option. When setting the alarm, be sure to check the snooze option.
is anyone else having this issue with the stock rom?
i have no alarms set however the alarm clock icon is still displayed in the status bar....
any ideas?
Hi,
1. Is there a quicker way to access (see/edit/delete) alarms other than going via the Clock app?
2. Is there a way to have the next alarm shown on lock screen, in the status or notification bar or similar? The alarm icon is shown in the status bar when an alarm is set but there is no more information.
Try the alarm clock widget

Tried the alarm clock widget, but did not like it. It seemed as if one has to choose one alarm for it to show. I wanted it to show the next alarm. Maybe I did something wrong. However, I also had a question about a 4x1 Weather + Clock Widget (
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1704163) and Fancy Widgets (https://play.google.com/stor/apps/details?id=com.anddoes.fancywidgets) had both weather and calendar as well as next alarm.
Looking like there's no solution, but if I don't ask...
I work odd shifts, every day different and I can set the alarm anywhere from 3:30am to mid afternoon. I want the alarm to have a snooze option when I set it but each time I set one it resets for the next time. Re-using an alarm isn't a great option due to the shifts, I'd prefer to s-voice a new alarm each day without messing about.
If there's no solution to changing the alarm defaults, perhaps there's a way to change the default alarm clock itself, perhaps to alarmclock extreme?
thanks
