There are probably more than just one ICS version, do you know the version to the one you are using, is it region specific formware, or did you flash it with flashtool or have it's FTF file?

Just reflash official ics rom with flashtool!!!

Okay that's a start
Download flashtool, and follow this article to see if you can build your rom from SUS files.
There are few differences between and the new flashtool but nor mahor ones.
If you can build the FTF file we will continiue from there.

There is no link kyo official ICS you can either build it yourself from SUS files or download one someone made from his or a backup.
IMO best make the one from your files as those are what Sony send to you when you flashed.

I'm not sure u can use with munjeni kernel or not. This is totaly generic rom maybe u can try n give ur feedback.
For batery i seen like it got improvement. I use the phone more then 3 hours with usage of calls about 30 minute, wifi 20 minute n play game for 30 minute. Batery have reduced from 99% to 94%.

So wht diff between 6.2.A.1.100 1264-7472 firmware and 1265-2259 ?
That's the CDA number (in build.prop). It indicates the region this Rom was released for. Is the value that Pc companion and SUS use to "recognize" the smartphone and then proceed to updating it. Apps preloaded on the smartphone are different depending of the region from the world, and indicates the type of model (ST27a or ST27i). System would be the same. And if this software was taken from a unlocked factory devise, it should work without a problem on any devise. I'll wait a bit for the release for mine, I'm ok whit the official ICS, for now. Thanks anyways though, good job.

To be hosest old launcher is better because this is a soso port from new home laucher who is created for bigger screens.

Xperia U Serious Problem

My Xperia U Too Slow I Have Tried Many Methods Posted In General Discussion I Also Rooted My U(w/o unlocking bootloader). Currently Using ICS(6.1.1.B.1.10 firmware) And My Free RAM Is Always Less Then 120MB.I Also Installed App Quarantine To Freeze Unwanted App Bt Still Nothing Works. Even Games Like Temple Oz Lagging In It. Bt When I AM Using It On GB I Can Play Maxpayne And Other Games w/o Any Lag.Please Suggest Me Some Good Method To Make It Fast I Am New Here And Hoping For A Some Good Answers.Any Type Of Help Will Be Appreciated.
best is to upgrade to a newer firmware of ics... the build u r using is the oldest/first ics build... so i suggest u should upgrade..(use flashtool and a proper ftf file)
Actually 120 mb free ram is more than sufficient u can't change it because system also need ram to work however you can download clean master this app is really helpful to manage your system or uninstall unwanted apps

My Phone Is Rooted And I Dont Know Anything ANout Flasing Is It Safe? And ALso How Much Free RAM Will Be There IN GB ?
Choice for you!!
First of all Welcome to XDA Bro!!
Now for ur problem. There are 2 solutions which I can mention.
1) Flash a Better Stock ROM.
Choose this method if you have a Locked Bootloader and don't want to Unlock it or If you can't Unlock your Bootloader.
I would suggest you to Flash a Stock based ROM - Venezuela Xperia U MOD
Remember though that for this ROM you first need to flash Stock B.1.100 ROM (B.1.10 and B.1.100, both are different).
Instructions are already there within the respective Thread.
Click to collapse
2) Flash a Custom ROM
Choose this method If you have already unlocked your bootloader or wish to unlock it.
This is my preferred option as a Custom CM/AOKP/AOSP ROM is much much better compared to Stock/based ROMs as it is void of any kind of Bloatware and provides better performance/responsiveness.
For this option I would recommend you to Flash SlimCM ROM which is a CM based one.
Though keep in mind that by flashing a Custom ROM you will lose Bravia Engine/xLOUD/Illumination Bar* like facilities.
Illumination Bar will only work for Notifications, it will not glow when you will touch the capacitive buttons. It will not give you the chameleon like effect when you open Music app or Gallery app.

Click to collapse
Choice is yours.
PS: I also read that you are new to flashing. For flashing, first of all you'll need "Flashtool" which is a software. Just Google it. Then search for some guides to using Flashtool on XDA.

[Update][BOOT.IMG][Baseband Ver:MOLY.WR8.W1248.MD.WG.MP.V6.P18] [2013/07/04]

Hi,
As per the new firmware update reported by viijay4b7, check the below link.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=45161808&postcount=20
I was wondering how to update the firmware without flashing the entire ROM. finally figured out and made a update zip.
This update is working on MIUI ROMs
This update only replaces the system/etc/firmware/* with the new firmware, i still need to figure out how to replace the boot.img
I haven't tested it on other roms, this will need different set of permissions for different ROMs
Please take backup of you ROM before flashing this
Try it at your own risk, I take no responsibility for any damages to your phone.
Feedback appreciated.
If the update doesn't work please reboot into recovery and restore the backup, let me know the ROM your are using, will try and provide an update.

If you are able to make calls and data line is working then no need to dirty flash.... but i would advice to reflash....
Was it showing earlier? are you getting any errors? Can you share recovery log. Also goto system/etc/firmware folder and check if you have additional folder starting with ft5206. If yes then baseband must be updated. This folder was not present in earlier roms.

Thank you for the feedback, by the way just checked offline charging works for me. Can you check again, I believe its something to do with the kernel not the firmware.
