When I got off the phone today, I noticed that all my quick settings options are right under the header in the notification tabs. I can't seem to find the option to take this away. Will someone please help me?

Long press the clock bar above the quick settings and it should toggle between QS, QL (Quick Launch), and nothing at all.

Customize app switcher button
Why can't I customize the shortpress and longpress and longpress actions for the app swap button on ViperDNA 2.0.0? In the ViperTweak|Buttons menu there are options to configure the Home and Back button functions but not for AppSwap. The app swap button does act as menu by default on this ROM which is good, but there does not seem to be a way to set the longpress action back to app swap. I can set this as the longpress action for Back but it is not quite as natural. This is configurable on the DNA Superstock ROM.

Anyone know of a way to change the location of the nook statusbar from the bottom to the top of the screen? Trying to go for a more stock Android look.

I thought about this but the back and menu button on the notification bar at the bottom are invaluable. I'm guessing CM7 will have some kind of perminant dock down there though.

At my not rooted NC they are unavailable anyway.
You can remove that status bar completely, it only shows up when Apps are open, you can remap volume up/down also so you can you them as a hard menu and back button,

Does anyone know how to change the settings in the camera app without having to edit the shortcuts just to change the settings you want to use?

Just press the settings icon instead of holding it. It'll pop up the menu of options.
I do that but it doesn't show all the options that are in the shortcuts. The only way to get to those is to add them to the top bar

You can use an app like Root Explorer to do it. Open the app and scroll down to the file that says 'sys', then scroll down to the 'class' file. Then choose 'Leds', then 'button backlight'. You'll see a list of files, including one that says 'brightness'. Long-press the file, then select the option to open in text editor. Change the value to '0' then hit the menu, save changes and exit. There's also an option in kernel tuner to turn the capacitive button lights off, as well.

Is there a mod to wake the phone using the volume key? Awesome Rom!!!!

I found the solution! Pull down the status bar. Long press the setting button on the upper right. Choose extended settings, swipe over to miscellaneous tab. Scroll down & select Long Press Buttons tab. Choose "Volume Keys Media Control" select WAKE UP. Problem solved!!!!
