I love the battery on this phone xD
Been on for 10 hours and 50 minutes with 4 hours and 34 minutes of screen on time, and i still have 55%!!!
I watched on youtube for an hour and half, watched 1 hour of video/gaming, and listening to music most of the time. Oh, and with 70% screen brightness
Just saying XD

Awesome, can other also share the battery life.
GSMArena says 11+ hr of web browsing, that means screen on has to be 11+ hr in real life conditions, which is noting short of Incredible.

Here is one of my recent cycles off the charger down to 15%. The best screen on time I've gotten so far is a bit over 8 hours using auto brightness and the slider set to 70%.

14 Hours use. 62% left. 2 hours screen on time. 70% w/ auto brightness.
That would easily put me at 30 hours use with 4 hours+ screen on time. That works for me.

There's a thread on general. Use System Tuner, open System then Android System and disable all services with iq in the name...about 6 or 7...then reboot.

So my question is does anyone has the extended battery for HTC Thunderbolt if yes, any pics? lol, I mean the EVO has the battery in the middle but this one looks more like in the top so I wonder how it looks?
I didn't put this on the other sub forum cause I feel is more like a question then anything else , thanks

It's weird...I get get 3 days on my extended battery...but only 1 day on my normal battery. Isn't the larger battery around 2800mAh and the stocker is 1400?

Is that with everyday use? call/text/web/messaging. I had one on my Inc and it would only last about 2 days, and then gradually got worse, I popped my old battery in and got 1.5 days out of a charge with everyday use and I still use it and the battery hasn't changed.

I too found that Maps was eating away on my battery so i just froze it in Titanium Backup and have seen a noticeable increase in battery life.
There's an insane amount of bloatware packaged with the S2, and for some reason they have certain programs running all the time, eating away at your battery.
As suggested above, freeze it with Titanium. And if you haven't already, check out the APK List [search for it], which will help you decide what bloatware to uninstall, if you haven't already.
Sorry four my ignorance but I need to be rooted right? Cools you give a noob a nice tutorial to root the phone?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA App
From this screenshot everything seems normal. Your batterie is almost full, so from this point of view it's normal that it eats up 14% of the total.

Read, read, and then read some more, before you do anything. Try and make sure everything is in order before you go through with the process.
Good luck :]

Why would out be normal to eat up 14% of my battery if out isn't even on?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA App
Ok! Rooted in about 10 seconds eheh. Bought titanium pro and froze maps. Uninstalled crappy samsung bloatware and hopefully tomorrow i'll see a battery improvement. Thanks again for all the help.
You're most welcome. Glad to hear everything went well.
Turn off wireless networks location tracking and Maps' battery use will go down.
Also folks in case you haven't seen this, highly recommended.

Because you say this:

And so far as I can tell your batterie is almost full. The 14% is relative, it is based on the amount of juize already used. Based only on this screenshot I don't see a problem.
If you never had maps opened and running in the first place then that's a different situation then the one your prescribed.

My first time seeing someone let his screen stayed on and phone never sleep for that long period of time. You must playing some 3D game or watching some movies non-stop from local (meant from your SD card)
This is an estimate of how much a full battery usage for my Amaze.
I have no idea what he was doing. My Serbian(?) is rusty.

is that a pic of wifi panel app??? if so you like it??? or you recommend any good apps to hunt down rogue apps that kill your battery???
No its from the Battery Widget Pro app and that screen is shown (based on history data of battery usage) estimate time for each activities on a fully charged and a current stated of battery. The app gave a lot of information on battery but somehow it gave me a wrong reading lately when I did a comparation with other apps like Current Widget and some others.

No offense but that's not a good battery life picture, your phone is idle too long, for a real comparison you have to use your phone, I've gone 17 hours before, and still had about 10% left and that was after a day of playing dead space and gta 3 all day

I'm not an expert but it looks like.... Ummmm.... Yeeeeeaaaa you charged your battery during thus timeframe so it's not a true reading. That's why there's an Upsweep in the power consumption graph. It won't do that any other way unless I'm not privy to a new technique

Is threre a way to make battery life better with some kernel or smthng like that, or with custom rom (I saved root)... I am a GSM user... Just look at the screenshots, my battery life is LAME!!
