convert shw-m250s and recovery - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hi friends,
i have converted my Samsung galaxy s2 Korean model shw-m250s to international model i9100 ,4.1.2.
now i want to flash custom roms... for that i have to root and flash the recovery but i am confused which recovery to flash as i know flashing wrong recovery will end up my phone :crying:.so please help me which recovery to flash .. made for i9100 or for shw-m250s please answer if you are confirm i dont want to loose my phone................................... thanks waiting for reply ..:angel:

flash a normal GT I9100 firmware via Odin.
Another option is to root your device and flash GT I9100 custom ROM via CWM recovery.

[Q] rooted GALAXY S2 korean m250s..

I have galaxy s2 korean m250s running android 4.0.4. I rooted it with this method (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1501719 ) and now i want to install this custom rom ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1854608 ) using CWM and i only want to ask that it will install to my S2 or it will brick the phone..

I think this rom is only for GT i9100
I guess that after you flash this custom rom you will loose root that you initially did.

It was completed but when i login CWMode device still at systen recovery @[email protected]
I have root and install cwm for 5 times

You need a kitkat compatible recovery(google or search xda for info), and then follow the instructions for flashing the rom in the OP. HERE is the android development section. Take your time and read up on how to flash properly
