Is there a way to change the keypad tones from the annoying squelching sound to something more orthodox such as DTMF tones?

I checked it out and if you record a sound with the preinstalled voice recorder and then go to the file manager and play the file you can press the "Menu" button and it will give the option to set it as either the ringtone, a specific caller ringtone, or an alarm tone, but not notification. There is probably a way to do it with a 3rd party app or something.
Bingo thanks!

I've been trying to disable the White notification LED that's constantly on while an incoming call is ringing.
This is only on AOSP based ROMs.
Appreciate any help. Thanks.
Bump.
