Sadly, this is how most of my leather cases end up.
My wife's old phone had metal at the end of the clip, keeping the leather from separating. I've googled and found leather cases, full metal cases, and cases with plastic clips, but nothing that has the metal at the end of the clip.
Has anyone seen a case with this feature?

in my country I there is a case with that feature, i used that a few times ago. but it's not really fix for hermes,it actually made for SE P900 series.. but hermes can fit quite well in that case...

I'm looking for a good tough case that has a belt clip like an Otterbox defender.
There doesn't seem to be anything out there. Currently I'm using a horizontal leather case, but easier access and some better degree of protection is what I'm looking for.
Any ideas?

Are there any nice book style leather cases that can has a built in stand to hold the note up in landscape mode that has a belt clip attachment. I saw some nice leather ones from pdair that had a belt clip but no stand.

The only one I know of took me 2 days to design and 5 days to cut & sew. I went to one of those cheap cell-stores with the bin of odd cases for $3-5 each, picked the one with the slimmest & most durable belt clip, & cut it out & incorporated it into mine. Love it though.
i searched all the net websites i could, but couldn't find a leather case flip type with a belt clip, i found regular leather case with belt clip but not flip type of book type with a belt clip
I'm also looking for a holster, but a vertical one for the naked device. I will update if I find one that would suit your needs.

I got the above holster made for the Galaxy Mega 6.3. The ZU is a tad less wide than the width of the holster. So I put a few layers of gaffer's tape at the holding arms which then holds the ZU firmly in place. It's a sturdy holster, holds the ZU well, and price is cheap. I've looked everywhere and can't find a holster for ZU. PDAir makes leather sideways pouch holster for ZU but it's $40 and bulkier.

why glue something on a case ( that will eventually the glue will fail on )
When you can buy a case & belt clip from the link I shared ???
You don't even have to use the case provided , I use the belt clip with my
Incipio DualPro SHINE case I have on my phone .
Well it depends on what tipe of glue you use I use set glue and it bonds very well.
I've been searching on and off for weeks and I cannot find a correctly sized vertical belt case for the S8. I have actually bought three such cases, non of which (despite the product descriptions) fits the S8 correctly. In fact, all are far too big for the phone. I used to buy Suncases for my phones, but they don't do one for the S8 as far as I can see.
PDair do one but it's open-topped and I prefer a closable flap over the top of the phone. Also the PDair one has a belt clip and I find a belt loop much more secure (ask me how I know this!).
Can anyone recommend a well-fitting S8 vertical belt case to me please?
