OK this is the last time I try anything on this phone.. OK I wanted to try out the MIUI rom and I downgraded to 3.15 everything was fine.. But I didn't like it to much so I did the PJ75IMG back to 3.17 from Captains thread, and when it said to press power to reboot it now gets stuck at the htc splash screen. When I try to reboot back into bootloader it just goes through the update and wants to reset again now I'm stuck. I can't get into recovery or the rom to delete the IMG file.. PLEASE HELP I am just going to stay on super jelly and not flash again....

thanks btw, quick and to the point... but for clarity... formatting or flashing will not damage anything...unless you flash a wrong radio / hboot or power down in midst of it.
i mean after flashing it 845,214,789 im sure you had it too long and it will break.

I ran it over night and had real problems charging it and getting into recovery. After the millionth time trying to get into recovery (every method known to man) I luckily got in and haven't looked back since. If I bricked my $500 phone, my wife might make me eat it for a new one lol.

I'm not sure. But this is the MOST alpha (or is it beta? ) rom I've ever played around with. Seems like its fine for most but not getting into recovery yesterday scared the **** out of me.

Interesting, when I had it loaded. I got in and out of the recovery fine. I had to go back to something else though. Too many weird bugs.

yeah i havent had any trouble with getting into recovery, but it didnt even friggen charge over night on my dock LOL...whata pain int he ass....it still runs good tho. pretty damn fast....im pretty nervous about trashing my phone too tho, and then have to deal with the new Hboot fiasco and such

It's the exact same as stock but deodexed and rooted. Nothing else. No tweaks. No optimizations.
It also allows users who want to modify it the way they want since it is completely stock. Devs can build off of it.

Can this be flashed using 4EXT or must it be renamed and flashed like any other stock ROM? (relocking bootloader, renaming file, etc)
Curious because I wanted to update to the "R2" version released by football..but might as well use this if it's already rooted and such, save a little time.
By the way, anyone know what the difference is between the latest ICS OTA and the "R2" version posted by football? (it wasn't posted in the Amaze forums, but it was posted on his filefactory account)
Kind if irritated that I even updated to ICS at all right now (used the OTA) because it seems to have totally borked WiFi calling (there's some kind of crazy delay that appears ~10 minutes into a phone call... other users getting the same thing). Really didn't want to S-OFF and revert to GB, though, so hoping this "R2" release fixed that

you are correct. all vzw is going to do is see if they can boot it. if not they will plug it into a machine and then go into download mode where they will flash a copy of everything back onto the device. but if they cant get into download mode they will just use it for parts.
i couldnt get it into download mode, nor did linux see the phone.
