Is there a way to call different homescreens in Trebuchet Launcher? The feature is there in tasker, but when i set it to homescreen 1, it still sends me to my default home screen (3); and will do this no matter what number I set it to. I am willing to change launchers but would like to stick with Trebuchet if possible.
Just to fill in any questions, I want to setup buttons that call tasks to go to different home screens when those buttons/tasks are pressed.

On the stock launcher, if you pinch out the screen it shows all the home screens, so then you can quick jump to another. But it also has a loud voice annoucing what you do. Can that be disabled?
I know how to set up widgets, i have mail, text and gmail. The problem i am having is that when i get a new text message or missed call, it defaults to the stock 1st lock screen where it says "1 Messaging" "1 Missed Call".. Both without details. I would like to know how to get a Gmail and Messaging widget on the first lock screen to see what the message says and what my new Gmail message reads or missed calls, etc.
i can not figure out how to get more that 1 widget on each screen. Also how to remove the default "1 Messaging" notification screen.. Make sense?
It is my understanding that you can only have one widget per screen

With the default lockscreen you can only have one widget at a time. You can get around this by installing another lockscreen app like WidgetLocker Lockscreen.
You could also use DashClock which gives better information than the default lockscreen clock. To see more info you just swipe down and there it is.
To get that working on the default lock screen you need install DashClock and then go in to Settings/MyDevice/Lock screen and click on Multiple widgets. Now go back to the lock screen and pull down and then scroll to the left to the big plus sign. Tap on that and choose DashClock. It will now appear on your lock screen. Setup the notification that you want via DashClock. Now remove the original widget by tapping and holding on it and then drag it up to the garbage can.
Hope this helps you.

Even though you can setup Dashclock this way, it still hides almost all the information until you pull back down again to the screen edit mode.
The stock touch wiz lockscreen sucks. Widgets are clumsy if you use security. The app based lockscreens are all too buggy. Maybe someone will get the AOSP lockscreen working.

Hi,
is there a way to disable the autorotate just on the home screen? coming from Note 1 then Note 2; those 2 devices allowed the home screen's autorotate to be disabled but enabled on everything else.
thanks in advance!
I use apex launcher, much more custom settings for every aspect of the launcher and entire user interface.

I think I tried other launchers including this one. they always scroll your home screen's wallpaper and I didn't care for that but that might have changed. but anyway, i guess the better question is, is this possible using touchWiz ? thanks.
To disable Home screen rotation only with Apex Launcher
Set your global System rotation settings to Auto
Then in Apex Launcher settings, go to Behavior Settings and set it to Default
Now your Home screen will remain in portrait mode when rotated to landscape, but apps such as Chrome will rotate to Landscape.
Hi all,
I'm running CM11 Nightly (20140107) on my GT-I9195 (S4 Mini). I'm required to have a PIN lock due to Exchange Policy, but I am able to modify the lock screen widgets. Since I have lowered the DPI for my System UI, I have quite a lot of room available above the PIN lock.
Apart from the date, time, weather and agenda provided by the cLock widget, I think I should be able to fit some more things in there, for example additional system information or some application shortcuts. I would like to have date, time and weather on the top-left, some other widget(s) on the top-right, and full-width agenda underneath.
However, I think you are only allowed to have two full-screen widgets on the lock screen; one default, and another one when you scroll to the left. So, I guess I should use some 'super' widget for this; a widget that is simply a container for other widgets. Does anyone know whether something like this exists? I have found Widget Maker in the Play Store which seems to fit my needs, but although it works fine as a regular home screen widget, it does not show up in the list of widgets when adding a lock screen widget.
Please note that I'm aware of WidgetLocker; I've used this before. The drawback is that you need two steps to unlock your device; first dismiss WidgetLocker, then enter your device PIN. So if possible, I would like to combine the standard PIN lock screen with multiple custom widgets.
Any suggestions?
I wanted to share an issue that puzzled me for a while. I had issues with App Shortcuts not working. I tried different launchers, and I could not get long presses to give me the shortcuts, for example for Play Store or Settings.
It turns out that a launcher can only show app shortcuts if it's set as the default launcher (in Settings > Apps > Gear Icon > Home App).
So, if launcher long presses, aka. App shortcuts do not work for you, check your default launcher.
