Hi, I flashed my Galaxy SII (GT-I9100) from 4.1.2 to 4.3 CARBON , CyanFox or cm-10.2, but My WIFI not working in all three Roms.Please advise me what's the problem?

i had the same problem when i was with my sgy with cm7.2, check in your wi-fi the mac adress appears. i fixed it changng my kernel, you can give a try.

Thank you very much, your comment directed me to go through Advance section of WIFI menu,region code to choose one of them already not selected.Now wifi started, but it is not stable and should be rechecked after rebooting.( cm-10.2 Nightly Rom , option not available in of Carbon )

I have a SGS II with Simplistic ICS RC7 and my main problem is that it doesn't seem to find the wifi hotspot created with connectify(software that shares your internet connection thru a wireless card) in my work (no router there).
Previousily i was on Miui 2.3.7 and it worked . Doesn't seem to be an ICS issue , more like a STOCK firmware issue, as my coleagues on stock 2.3.6 didn't find the hotspot eighter so i'm thinking it must be an modem driver issue or kernel. any help would be apreciated.

I've no experience with connectify, but you could try changing out your kernel. Wifi drivers are in the kernel, I believe. Give Siyah a shot.
well the only custom kernell from siyah for ICS available right now is an alpha version. tested it. wifi still doesn't detect my hotspot.
Sorry, totally missed the part about you being on an ICS ROM.

actually my wifi have been unable to work in almost custom and official Roms .
indeed it works about in Resurrection Remix v2.5.3 even more Ive try every kernels and Roms such ::
all versions of Siyah kernel and Shun-Droidmax-Dream kernel ---and PFittech_ROM_v1.0.2_Sammy_ICS + VK--ICS-XWLPO-V5.2-Multi-Language_2 + cm-10-20120729-EXPERIMENTAL-i9100-CODEWORKX + 4.0.4 nordic country (LPX - LPO) + 4.0.4 LQ5
But the result is the same { turning on...} and not getting work
please help my phone.

Hope your WIFI is working fine, please check with some other device to confirm the same. Also check if any of your friends mobile/SGS2 is working in your WIFI region. Also suggested to try Resurrection Remix V.2.7 ICS ROM with Dorimanx Kernal V.5.85 which is the good Combo as per user in that thread. You need to use latest ROM as they have better WIFI drivers.
You are saying 'turning on' that means your router is working and your internet connection may not be good. Do check your internet connection at your location or try your device at other location where they have working internet WIFI.

my internernet connection worked because i test it with another devises
and my wifi working in some official roms it means that my network connection did work well.
Do you revise your wireless security? If it's WPA, WEP or those things, cause some of them don't able your phone to connect, in my case

today a friend of mine flashed the Omega Rom 33.3 and got a wifi issue. The wifi never connects and says "Authentication failed", "wrong password" or it just says connecting and after a while it switches back, but on the MIUI the wifi works great. Also the wifi didn´t work on the stock 4.1.1.
I hope somebody can help us. Thanks in advance

EDIT: He tried a new kernel (SiyahKernel S3 v1.8) , also a new modem and it isn´t working at all. The weird thing is, that he got a full nandroid backup of my phone (Omega Rom 33.3), where everything is working fine, but on his phone the wifi doen´t want to work. The wifi worked at 4.0.4, before official 4.1.1 Kies update, and on the MIUI rom.

Did you install the latest build of cm10?
There was a known bug before that caused a problem with WiFi scanning, you have to manually type the WiFi ssid to connect. But the update that A_S rolled out on the 15th fixed this "I think" cause mine has been fine since.

And I have already added my router manually, even made a static IP for the tablet.
Then it says at Wi-Fi: "Not in range"...
So what can I do about it?
Wrong rom, or what?

In the topic from CM 10.1 are more people with WiFi problems, so I gonna try it with CM 10.0... I'll keep you'll updated!

i have new problem in my i9100 ..i am now in rootbox rom 4.2.2 last nightly with dorimanx kernal 9.16 and wifi work good but when i update new dorimanx kernal update over the old one the wifi not work ,at all kernal ..even stock one but when i remove my sim card wifi work with all kernals again sooo any help please
Read about it in the dorimanx thread, either development or support. The wifi drivers were recently changed for the kernel. If the recent kernels have wifi issues, then you'll have to stick with the old ones or change to a different kernel. The new drivers work for 80% of users, the other 20% are our of luck as your hardware is incompatible. Bad luck mate :/

I got this problem that wifi won't work. But didn't tried no sim cart input!
Anyway I found the solution. If the rom you are using has the wifi region code setting in wifi advanced option, set it to a country (I chose Australia) it will do the trick and your wifi will work! And any rom without wifi region code option you will have this wifi connectivity problem since dorimanx said he won't investigate to solve this issue.
