LED light problem - HTC Droid DNA

Hi to all! I have a problem with my HTC Droid DNA regarding my notification LED light, when i plug my headset everything is doin fine the problem is when i unplug it or pause the music that is being played the green light starts to light up not blinking but solid green, i tried to disable LED notification in notification settings but no changes, the only way to turn it off is to restart the phone. Any idea how to resolve this issue? i am currently using NOS 3.0.3 GSM sense 5 android version 4.2.2
Thanks in advance!

On sense based ROMs, I believe the notification LED stays solid for ongoing notifications, like the music notification.

Read the ROM thread, it's been covered many times. Flash BeastMode kernel....

Question: Pulse Light Notification ICS Passion v11

Hey all... I had v10.6 and the pulse notification worked as it should... it pulsed. Now after flashing v11 directly over v10.6 even with the pulse option selected, the softkey lights stay lit now. I've unchecked/rechecked this option but not sure what to do.
Anybody else have this issue or know a solution?
I remember this happening to me where I'd get a message and it won't pulse but stay lit on previous versions of ICS Passion. When it happens to me I usually turn off the pulse notification, reboot, turn it on, and test.
No luck with that but thanks for the suggestion!

Same here: I saw it pulsing exactly once. After the next upgrade it was gone back to just turning on the lights. It seems common to most ROMS that support the feature. Too bad :-(
Maybe it has something to do with deep sleep/power management and the fact that the CPU would need to wake up every second and turn the light on and off.
I would say try the Streamline Kernel. That is the only one I had the actual pulse notification work for on ICS Passion.

Now that you mention it, I was on v10.6 + Eugene's kernel when it did work.

Mine never pulsed, even when it was on 10.6.
Never saw it pulsing too, just aways on on notifications.
We don't have full control of it, right? Like different pulses for e-mail and sms notifications, or control over individual leds, like blink home for e-mail, back for sms, menu for calls, etc... I know that they are independent leds, as I saw only some on one time (when the phone crashed), so, it could be done that way.
Yes, that streamline kernel totally forgot. I had pulsing when I had that kernel on and when I flashed to v11 w/o streamline it is solid.
Apparently streamline is currently only available for/compatible with v10.6.

It has returned in v12!!

I am running cm10 as well and my notification light is working fine (although it seems all the custom colors I try to create just end up looking white.... Just messed with the settings and i was making the color too dark, now the colors look great!) and it should have been active from the start. Go to settings -> display -> and then notification light and make sure it is enabled, then from there you can tweak the color settings.
Yeah blinks once and then it doesn't blink anymore! :/

Anyone else have any ideas it's supposed to blink continuously until you open your phone right if there is a missed message you have not checked?

Download Lightflow and you can customize the colors, frequency and other sounds associated with notifications and calls. It also overrides the default notification lights for apps so you don't have to worry about getting multiple colours for a notification.

[Q] Notification Light on JB

Is there any way to make the LED blink green instead of red on JB roms for notifications?
I either get red blinking or green solid.
I don't know what jb ROM your using but if your using team dirts unofficial aokp ROM you can change the led color to green in ROM control under led and adjust the blink rate of the led light. It will also let you enable blinking led while phone is charging too.
Can you try an app? Here are a few from searching the play store:
Light flow lite
Blink
LED me know beta
Sorry I can't post links yet. Lol I can't do anything until I have 10 posts...

I'm on AOSP and in system settings under the display tab theres a button for notification lights. From there you can shoose a few different settings for the lights. Don't know if they work though. JB should be the same.

That might be rom specific. I'm also on an aosp rom and that isn't in my settings :/
Did you try any other apps? I searched the play store for "led notification" and only listed 3. There were several apps for that. Possibly the one just wasn't compatible?
LED me know beta had pretty good ratings.

[Q] LED light irregularity in Supernexus ROM?

Hello
I have a S3 rooted GTI9300 with the Supernexus ROM Build 5, 4.1.2. I came from stock so I used to use Lightflow Pro in that to control and allocate different colored blinking for different notifications. I dont think Lightflow works properly with jelly bean. Apart from that, even with no third party app, I still dont get any LED notification even if its enabled in whatsapp or facebook. My LED works fine when theres an incoming call, the battery is low or when im charging it. Please help!?
Anyone?

Help! S4 Active

I recently installed UNOFFICIAL 4.3 ROM for Samsung Galaxy S4 Active. Had some issues. The phone wasnt charging but it seems like its charging now. And why are all the leds on ? the blue, red and green LEDs are on and have no idea why
Are we supposed to guess which rom you are using...?
If we know what rom, what recovery, any additional mods or themes, and what the last official version of the software were you using then we could start trying to point you in the right direction.
Also I'm not quite clear on what you mean by all the LEDs are on? I thought there was just one notification LED light on it? Or is it flashing various colors?
