Well, this is meant more as a post, but where'd that universal ICS thread go off to, now =0? This will get locked soon, anyway, but yeah, just two pieces of news, maybe good, maybe not, that I saw recently: the first being, DesignGears leaving the Galaxy Nexus, but going to the SkyRocket. Not sure that's good or bad. Of course, they're two different phones, but I think he helped them out so maybe he's just jumping phone to phone?
And the second being that the SkyRocket just got an ICS leak from out of nowhere, fully functional as well, which really threw me off as the SkyRocket is a specific branch of the Galaxy S II, not exactly the international version or anything. We were supposed to get it a lot before them, but so much for those dreams. Regardless, I do appreciate the load of work put in by the developers and I'm not throwing that away at any point, but yeah, it's interesting overall. In the long run (which might just be a week or two after now maybe, who knows), us non-SkyRocket's will be better off with a phone that's faster overall, but yeah, did not expect any of this to happen.

Wow dude, it's gonna be OK. When you come off that sugar high, then you might be able to see that D_M and I do a pretty damn good job here with this being one of the busiest forums on XDA. Thanks.
Since we don't have our own off topic thread, I figured it would be a good idea to start one. We all seem to get off on tangents in all the other threads so lets just make this thread one long tangent.

Just got back from watching The Amazing Spiderman. Won tix for a screening from our local TV station. I dont want to do any spoilers but I will say this. It was good, not great, just good. Some really great special effects. However I wouldnt go see it again. I still say Avengers was the best movie I have seen this year. The new Batman may be just as good. Im really looking forward to seeing it.

I just finished reviewing the Galaxy Mega 6.3. I've used the Note and Note 2 as my daily driver for a about 1/2 a year each... hope someone finds this helpful...
I will also do an in-depth comparison of the Mega 6.3 /w the Galaxy Note 2 soon

Haha same, I m going to be soon on the market for a phone with a big screen (right now on N4), and which won't cost an arm after a trade-in.
Xperia Z looks great but it's so expensive! Maybe a next year buy ?
Anyway, only thing to see now is if there will be some developpement here on XDA so I ll be watching that particularly

M8 if you are gonna get a phone wait a few days... check out my channel... am doing a review on the Lenovo Ideaphone K900... seems amazing... the price here in india is about $410 unlocked... just look up the specs...
BTW I will be posting the review in a thread on XDA as well

But it's important for me to be also able to have some XDA fun, if you catch my meaning
And I m not sure Lenovo get so much traction here?
The Lenovo seems to have a very small battery for a full HD screen phone?

Yep.
I m really looking for the big screen, so I think I ll stay away from the S4, although it's really for sure having a lot of exposure here.
Well, it'll come more slowly for the Mega, so that's why I m also considering the Note 2 (the Note 3 will be out of my price range for sure).

I figured since this is the Nexus 6p forum, it would suffice to just say "out of stock" since it's the only device this forum handles.

If we're being technical, no, because Google isn't a product that can be out of stock. But given the context, I think everybody here knows it's referring to the 6P.
Now they just need to start shipping the things!

I didn't even buy one, was going to be ultimately decided against it. I'm probably going to jump ship and head to the Note 5.

Why would one search for the Nexus 6P being out of stock? I mean with issues and problems, fine, but this isn't really the type of thing someone would Google.

FWIW, I searched "Nexus 6P out of stock" and stumbled into a thread that mentioned you can order from Huawei directly...I had not known that until I did that search and found that thread.
Title updated.
Im assuming at some point post-release these stock issues will subside?
Annoyed that Huawei wont let me order, Google is OOS....I think Im just going to wait a few months.

I don't remember when the Nexus 6 came back in stock after the first 5 minutes of launch, but I think it was a couple of months. In the time between then and launch, they would have the N6 on sale one day per week or something like that. I ended up getting mine in April when it hit the carriers...which the 6p isn't doing, right?
Huawei has the 128gb Aluminum in stock on their site. I ordered the 128gb Graphite from there this morning. It is now out of stock. The 6p will be sold by Google and Huawei on the web only.
The hell with Huawei, 32GB aluminum just came back in stock at Google Store....ordered there instead.
Paid tax but go figure, my credit card wasnt declined.
Maybe if Huawei gets their act together, clears my "fraud" and actually has the 64GB in stock for pre-order, then Ill order from them. Wont cancel my Google order anytime soon though.

I'm thinking orders getting cancelled and re-ordered at Hauwei to save tax, or orders getting changed to different color and/or mem capacity.
Who knows when I'll get it but at least I'm technically in line for one
