Hey guys,
I really want a 10.2 ROM to impress my friends with, I tried to make it in a VM but failed after the long download of the source code screwed it up. I really want it so I was if somebody could do it.
Don't be put off by my junior status, I know A LOT on Android, flashing ROMS, CyanogenMod, and the HTC Legend.
I would love to collaborate with anyone else doing this, I would love to help!
Also does anyone know any ROMS I DON'T have to build on Linux as well?

Has anyone seen or heard of this? This is one of the best ROMs out there... except for the fact that it is not available on the Eris. Here is a video of what the MIUI ROM looks like. youtube.com/watch?
If anyone know the developer or knows how to contact him/her, then shoot me a pm or please, please, please, contact them and request the ROM port for Eris.

maybe a lil too iphone'esque for our eris blood but it looks like it was intended for desire and nexus so maybe soon someone will have it ported, looks like g1 dream section is working on it...
The G1 project has been dropped. Its almost impossible to port it for an MDPI device without the source code

You couldnt. The rom is from china so i doubt it would ever be released
This ROM is AWESOME!! I flashed 'Team D1-MIUI' on my wife's Droid(The original droid) about a month ago and she loves it! It is kinda Iphone'ish, but different.

I doubt it man it probably would of already been done, im not sure though.

Cool, I guess it can be possible just we can request miui for Eris, you said its cool and fast? Can you just us know ram occupied by miui on your wife phone?

Is the Desire the same as the droid eris on the MIUI website? There is a link to download MIUI for Desire.. if I try and flash this on the eris , is it going to brick?
Hi I want to make aosp or HTC rom but wondered if can getting any help I have tried setting up android kitchen by virtual box with Ubuntu but can't seem to work it so wanted help so I can make a rom for desire for me to use and possibly others but need help as don't know how to get started with it any help appreciated really all the basics or something will do to get me going

Android and WebOS are both built on Linux....
they "should" be compatible...problem is...drivers...same issues that CM has with compiling AOSP with our phones, drivers....so, with that said, getting WebOS onto the SGSII "should" be possible, but it would require a team like that of CM to get going....
now, i'm no dev, but i would love to volunteer my SGSII to help out with testing...

So I've always wondered how to cook a kernel, if that is even what you call it. I'm definately not new to any of this though. I just don't know if you have to build kernels or if port them or what. I want to build a sense kernel for ICS, or more so help get one built. I know a couple devs only phone who would all be willing to help I just don't know what I'm doing and want to learn

Hi there to all devs, i seen that one of xda member , @victorator, has managed to build AOKP based kk rom. Im using his rom for more then a week, and its good, no problems with music like with CM based roms. the rom is pretty clean with not too much customising options. Plus it seems that the builder has left the project, or at least it is unknown if he gonna continue with this project
Can anyone that knows to build want to ask @victorator for permission and pls try and make something with this rom? Its a good base but can be made a lt better.
