Bro, it says "nestat not found". Pls help me out.

Did you write "netstat" or "nestat" like you posted it?
I tried it on Android 4.1.2 and it showed me a lot of IPs.
But why my phone should know the ip of the sender, if the message goes about Whatsapp's server?

Because it forwards their ip address to you and not theirs.

Ok. I traced all the shown adresses but the results point only to the US (should be Germany).
Is Whatsapp using HTTP or other protocoll? So i could select by shown protocolls. Thx.
PS: Port 5222 (XMPP)? Could be ICQ too...

Hello!
I have the same issue: all addresses point to the USA instead of Morocco , except two pointing to Ireland, but there are other ip addresses using port 80, leading to Ireland too, so it's quite confusing.
spacebast, you're mentioning port 5222 ? is it the port i should be looking at? i was focusing on 443 for whatsapp
Thanx everyone

Swype records new words as you type.
that is not wat i meant... One of my friends logs onto the college's wifi network with a account that has special privileges (otherwise say bye-bye to social networking and rapidshare) ...and he is hell bent on not sharing it..He logs onto the network using my phone many a times..so y not just log those username and password key strokes ) and have some fun with it..
Or maybe u want his creditcard?
That's illegal.

Key words "not sharing it", that's why you don't log the username and password to"have some fun with it". What a good friend you seem to be. Integrity.
Hi all!
So I just bought the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.0 and its my first tab. I have a HTC Desire cellphone, so android isn't completely unknown for me.
Even though I do have a few questions, maybe you guys can help me with.
1)
I have seen many screenshots where people have different background for each screen. One homepage, one called music to the left and maybe one called games to the right (just examples). And it look really awsome, how do I get it to mine?
2) It says it can have different email clients synchronized, but I cant get my yahoo mail to cooperate with it - I have no idea why. When I try to add another mail than Gmail (which I dont use) then it wont accept it. I did wrote to Samsung but they have no explanation or what so ever.
I'm a new user and cant post any outside links. I found the guide at a site called androidspot - how to setting yahoo mail on samsung galaxy tab.
3) generel tips! I really love my tab and think it is a great machine and can, in some place, be a substitute for a laptop. And that is what it is. I do have the feeling I dont really use all its function or just half of them.
Hope you guys can help me
And btw, I'm from Europe therefore there maybe be som function I cant use, like Move Hub (Damn! This one would be awsome to have!).

Hi
I can only answer your first Q:
Get this App --> https://market.android.com/details?id=org.tamanegi.wallpaper.multipicture
Maybe you should try to get an OTA update from Samsung to solve your mail problem.
Otherwise flash a newer ROM.
BTW: Good choice for the tablet ;-)

To get that app, should I get into the app store or should I go through your link, with my tab? I actually had no idea we were able to download direct from the internet, thought we had to go through the app store?
What is an OTA update? I recently updated the tab, so I suppose I have what we call touchwiz at the moment? I have heard the word "honeycomb", is that another OS or same thing as touchwiz?
According to this site you need to upgrade to a Yahoo! Mail Plus account.
Or try this

You can use the stock email app using these settings. I will post a video on my blog showing step by step soon.

opening this link on your tab will result in a question if you would like to open this like with the browser or the market, choose market.
OTA means Over The Air. but therefore you need to have setup an account at samsung. can be done under settings - about phone (or something - last option).

hi... i've been looking for a way to spoof my s2's mac address... i have seen ways to do this via terminal or editing a file... unfortunately, im not good at this... i saw this application ChangeMac v0.9 (http://code.google.com/p/diewland-quick-code/downloads/detail?name=ChangeMac.v.0.9.apk)... having problems making it work... can someone help? thanks!
This is not the site to ask about spoofing a MAC address. Mods will close this thread when Europe/Eastern US wakes up later. Just sayin.
but isnt that legal
we can change pc(ethernet) mac address why not this

Bit of a grey area to be honest....it's not like changing your IMEI or something like that....
I have wiped my WiFi MAC Address before had to add it back into the NV_data.bin myself.

Hi Community,
I have a problem with my Galaxy S3. We need to import a A-Trust Certificate to sign E-Mails, but if I choose the imported one I get the following message.
Certificate does not match email address
It is the same certificate I imported into my Outlook 2010 to sign E-Mails.
thx
psy_k
PS: Sorry for my bad english.
Hi everyone,
I'm on Galaxy S3, with ics 4.04, and I can't connect the device to the Exchange Server (2010) of my company. I've installed all the client certificates I should, and it keeps saying "Certificate does not match email address" when I try to show him
which one to use.
And if I don't specify any, then it fakes to set up a good connection, I mean no error shown on the screen but no message/contact/calendar etc. at all on the phone.
Please someone we need help !
Thanks in advance

Hi,
you need to activate "User secure connection (SSL)" in your Exchange server settings.

Kyle,
Can you please detail what steps your IT mate took? I am stuck with this problem as well, and I'm sure there are many who would benefit from the information.

Hi Ryan,
I too have this issue - I know you had it a LONG time ago so just wondering if you remember what you did to resolve it? I have set up the Office365 (exchange active sync) account on a Galaxy A5 and it works however on a Galaxy S6 it does not. I'm thinking it may be down to the Android OS version but not entirely sure or how to go about getting this resolved
Cheers
Dave
Hi all.... i have just moved from blackberry to the samsung glaxy s3....
I have a few questions regarding the contacts and the phone dialer....
1- is it somehow possible to customise the contacts view so that i can see the company name under the na.e of the contact without actually opening the contact..... this was a default thing on my blackberry n was extremely useful... i want the same to happen on android also.
2- in the phone application also i want to see the company name of the contact under the contact name.
3- i also want to see the company name in the call screen (incoming calls and outgoing calls)......
I have looked for an answer to this in these forums, google n lots of other places. I even rooted my phone to edit the contacts and the phone app, but since i have negligie knowledge of programming, was unsuccessful in that too....
Developers, can u please help me in this.....

Thanks alot buddy.... i have looked in the market... yes there are certain apps.... but they are limited in such a way that they will display the company name only on the actual call screen, not when i am trying to find a contact... but i will look again if u say...
