Eclipse 2.0. Go to Android development and flash it. The closest you'll get and still be TouchWiz.
I did flash some custom stuff on Hyperdrive and got a good dark and holo look to the menus and stuff.

Thanks a bunch for the reply but I'm a little confused lol. If I understand correctly, Eclipse is its own separate rom. Do you have a zip file for the dark and holo look that I can flash on Hyperdrive (by far my favorite rom but I love the aosp look). Thanks again.

[Q] Droid 2 black notification bar

does anyone know a way to make the Droid 2 notification bar black?
I'm running the stock rom and i don't want to flash any other one.
so can anyone help me?
Just use any theme you see here with a black notification bar... or do a search for black notification bar.... searching is key
Sent from my DROID2 using XDA App
I found a theme.....but do all notification bar themes work on any phone?
Crap didn't mean to thank you for that post.
All themes under droid 2 themes and apps should work as long as they are made for your rom
Do you need to be deodexed to apply themes like this?(excluding metamorph and ninjamorph)
Sent from my DROID2 using XDA App
I don't think you necessarily have to be, but it is recommended.
Completely wrong
You need to be deodexed or flashing themes will FAIL.
I would just recommend using fission and then flashing a theme over fission. Fission has tons of features and themes and you'll like your phone much better after that. Any custom rom is deodexed though so it should work with any rom.

I said what I said because I had read that there were some deodexed themes. Not sure how true that is though, as being that I've never actually tried looking for any.
thanks for the tip.
i just flashed Fission with the black theme, works fine and is amazing
thx again
I'm not sure what deodexed means. Does this mean I can't change the notification bar theme on stock rom?

If you're running the D2's stock ROM, they your most likely ODEXED. As they said before, install any custom ROM and you'll then be DEODEXED. Hope this helps...

ICS Theme for SHOstock2 WORKS on 1.3 and 2.0 (and other roms - - BACKUP!)

I decided to try the SHOstock2 theme from the wonderful team of individuals here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1584144
UPDATE: WORKS ON SHOSTOCK2 2.0!!
My main problems with the "theme" is it totally messes with your stock apk files by adding extra AOSP apks or replacing apks. (AOSP MMS, AOSP Calendar...), the weird charging image bug, and the out-of-alignment signal icon while on wi-fi.
After reflashing SHOstock2 v1.1, I decided to just re-jigger this theme to an actual VR theme which will NOT mess with the rom's stock apk files (I love TW Calendar compared to AOSP).
This is just an image swap pseudo-theme which replaces the stock SHOstock2 battery icon and themes the Settings, Frameworks (-res and tw) and SystemUI. It does NOT add or replace apks and may work on other roms than SHOstock2. (I am using it with SHOstock2 v1.3)
I have fixed the charging animation bug and the out of alignment signal icon on wifi. The clock is NOT themed blue. See my screenshot attached.
I want to mention that most of this theme is not my own work but an arrangement of other work I have come across here on XDA.
Download the VR theme here: http://www.mediafire.com/?b97o5ozyy7edi2o
Save the zip on your phone and flash in CWM recovery.
You can replace the dock icons using any of the great icons from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1590114
I do not wish to offend anyone here. I appreciate the thought of the original theme and wish to only make it easier in my eyes without messing with any of the original rom's functions. Thank you for your consideration!
Working fine with Phone-Bricker as well.

ha, ha!!! Yeah...I guess it is a little more CM9 looking ICS than Samsung ICS.
It is basically some image changes and I just flashed it over SHOstock 2 v2.0 and it works just fine. That is the whole purpose of the VR Theme System...cross rom compatibility.
Hopefully I helped some of you get a slight bit more polish in your Sammy roms.
So this does not change the dialer?
Sent from my SGH-I777 using XDA
I haven't used SHOstock2 in completely stock form in a while but I do know the dialer will be the same as originally stock SHOstock2.
Nothing was changed with the phone apk.

Getting JB Style, Keeping TW Features - Hyperdrive & Nova

I'm assuming I'm not alone here, as I have seen many people across the forums saying that they have either already gone to, or are thinking of flashing an AOSP ROM, and are worried about losing all of those Samsung Goodies (Like hover, air gestures, eye control, TW Camera, etc.) They generally also seem to want the customizability of a custom rom, as well. So, let's discuss how people have gone about getting that JB feel on a TW ROM.
The way I currently have this set up is with the Hyperdrive 5.7 ROM as a base. With just that, you get a smoother, faster, and enormously feature-packed TW ROM. The customization you can accomplish with this ROM is very impressive, especially considering it is TouchWiz. On top of this, I'm running - yep, you guessed it - Nova Launcher.
Nova Launcher is, in my opinion, the obvious choice for getting stock JB feel on any device. Nova allows the important customizations made to Hyperdrive to continue working, while adding the JB feel right on top. I've also run the script from within Hyperdrive to enable the Nexus 4 Softkeys, and I've shut off the lights on the capacitive keys on the device itself. This makes them completely invisible, so the device looks much more like a Nexus device, if you like that sort of thing.
What do you guys think? What other options are out there? I'm looking to give some insight to users who may want to get this type of feel on their S4, while also getting some feedback or better/different ways of achieving this. Good luck, and happy theming!
looks good just get rid of the nav bar

What does the dialer look like? Still the ugly white?
What about incoming call screen?
Just changing the launcher doesn't make it AOSP themed.

Why don't you just go check out the ROM thread yourself before completely discounting it? No, it does not have the white dialer. It's very well themed and runs great.

Yeah. So the dialer and incoming calls are both part of the TW base. Nova launcher is just that; a home/launcher replacement. Just as you said. Though I am sure there are theming options for these things through third party methods, since many people dislike TW appearances.
I am just trying to get more of an AOSP look/feel, doesn't need to be completely coated in JB.

I fully understood the point of the thread which is why I suggested Eclipse ROM. It's Touchwiz based and includes all the Touchwiz gimmicks as well as the TW camera. It's most certainly NOT an AOSP ROM as you seem to think it is. It's just a very well themed Touchwiz ROM.

You know, its really easy to post a reply without being passive-aggressive about it. I made a mistake and was unaware that Eclipse was Touchwiz, I was misinformed. Now that I have been home and had a chance to look at it, it looks like a really great option! Thanks for posting it here.
