Recover deleted files from internal memory - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

Hello guys , I have a xperia P LT22I , I had lots of pictures , around 10gb on the internal storage ! Then I thought I should move it to my computer , as I finished copying , it looked like it finished and the window close , so I deleted the pictures from DCIM from my memory , then I found out that they weren't copied. I really need those pictures , they are 10 gbs for God's sake ! Any help will be appreciated ! My phone is not rooted , bootloader locked.

Search recover files on PlayStore

Or you can use recuva on pc...
Mount as SD... Via SD mounter
Install recuva on pc... And find the files after connecting the phone as a usb mode...

[Q] pictures deleted after flashing hydrogen

i flashed the great rom hydrogen (android 4.04) before i was rooted and stock firmware from samsung.
now everything works fine, but MY PICTURES WERE DELETED ?!?!?!?!
pls help mee
Delete means gone deleted .
Try RECUVA that may find your deleted pictures .
But it will be far easier to restore your backup .
jje
See if you have them in your SD card
If its their in SD card then try wiping media cache in apps or stopping and restarting media process
Also wipe cache of gallery if you have those images in SD card

If your pictures are not even shown in file explorer, better mount your SD card as USB mass storage in your PC and use softwares like recuva to recover your deleted files

Remove your sd card and see if it lags. If it doesn't lag, then format your sd card.
Thanks

I do not what it means.
But here's my suggestion. You do a factory reset, and while doing it make sure you check the box which says "Format SD?".
Before doing it take the back up of the pictures and music and things that you will need. In case you need to take back up of apps, use app monster and it will create apks of the apps in the sd card. Copy all these files to your pc and then factory reset along with the format option checked.
After its done, restore the back up (the music and images and photos and movies) and it should run smooth.
If not report back. I will try to help.
Thank You,
Rick.

If the problem comes again, know that your sd card has some problem. Replace it. Or may be hard format it. (search the net and you will know what I mean).
Anyways, after installing the apps again, problem is not supposed to come. Just try as I or the other guy asked. It will surely solve the issue.
Thanks,
Rick

sd ext fix for xperia go ONLY TESTED ON GO ICS

hi all i have been very annoyed with sonys attitude to getting the sd card mounting wrong even after speaking to them online and over the phone i got the same reply ... this is not a fault with sony this is something you will need to contact the app devs. unhappy with this i tried fixes found on the www all came up with the same problem it all works fine on the phone but not on pc so after a bit of work i think i have a solution
the vold.fstabs in the /etc needs to be tweaked as with all others on the net but this one works with the pc as well.
has been tested on my device if you replace it with the file attached (root access required ) after renaming original to .bak .
reboot device if you get sd error on reboot please delete and restore orginal and post your finding
please note i am not a dev i have some knowledge but just a hobbyist
i hold no responsibility MAKE SURE YOU BACKUP

Hi.
Is this a bug on all Xperia GO?
I don't have any issue with my SD card on my phone, everything are working like it should i believe.
Could you please explain what kind of problem this is? The SD EXT card i believe is the extra memory card you insert into the phone. If so, i don't have any problem with that one.
Thanks in advance

this is a problem with all go and as far as i know all xperia 2012 phones where the internal memory is partitioned to system and user the user is then mounted as sd card meaning that after 4gb no more app data can be installed etc. this means that you SD CARD is unusable for apps and app data (apps2sd) will try to install to sd card but go to internal memory

but not working. Now everything is ok. Thank You very much!
Uhu, I messed up.
I did everything you said, but right after restarting, some apps (usbotg, media service etc) stopped working and some apps as well, I think they were in internal storage.
One thing, as you were saying, the ext_sd will be sdcard and the sdcard will be ext_sd?
[Xperia Go] are the mountpoints the same in JB?
If I switch my internal and external sd mountpoints using ICS, will a upgrade to JB using SUS overwrite the(modified) vfold.fstab?
Isuspect the upgrade will unroot the phone
can i use in xperia go JB st27i? i tried, but unsuccessfully

Once you nuke your sd card (format it) everythings gone!!! End of story. Thats why its important to use cloud storage or in my case that and a flash usb drive everything thats backed up on to your sd card once you format it do a factory reset its gone

Try this, maybe your lucky:
[GUIDE] Internal Memory Data Recovery - Yes We Can!

[Q] How to copy videos, mp3 etc. from pc to external sdcard?

I have this 32gb external sdcard and i want to copy videos, mp3's and other files on it. i tried connecting my device to my pc and start to copy files to my phone's external sd (sdcard1), error displays "The device has either stopped responding or has been disconnected". i also tried root explorer but error says "Copy failed".
I can transfer files to my device internal memory (sdcard) without problems but i don't want to put the files there because the storage might get full. I also tried sdcard fix from playstore but it won't do it.
btw, I have a rooted phone with dual recovery, fw 23.0.1.A.167. i hope someone can help me on this...
Try to format the sdcard in your phone, maybe it solve the problem
Send from heaven...
Type this commands in adb:
adb push example.mp3 /data/media/0/
And open file manager on your phone/tablet, move example.mp3 from sdcard to ext. sd

Me too faced the same problem a few days ago when i updated my phone to the same firmware, i tried everything but nothing worked, then after trying all the things which i found, i tried changing the card and it worked! Then i put my card in other phone, it didn't work there too!
Result: my card somehow became read-only! I could read the files which were already on it but i was not able to write or delete something. Got it replaced under warranty, everything is fine now.
Wish you luck with your card!
