Yo, im using ilauncher (i know stupid to use it on android) but today all creators apps (ilauncher, inoty, ilocker) disappeared from google play and so his facebook account...Anybody have some intel on this? He quit or something?
Thnx for info and sorry if the thread is wrongly placed.
At a guess, apple probably complained.

Does this mean it's safe to share the app now?
Before anyone gets their panties in a bunch, I'm a paid customer of both iLauncher and iLocker, so I'd be sharing something I bought and paid for myself.

i have file apk ilauncher and ionty
I don't think so, probably the dev's preparing for a big update. Yesterday, these 3 apps didn't appeared in playstore search but if you had the link to them, they were there, with 7 october updates. Then, they dissapeared. If it was Apple complain, probably the dev announced on his facebook page so the fans would know.
That's what I think at first but why anyone pull of all his apps and make facebook page inactive just to make update? Without facebook page people know nothing what's happening.
Sent from my HUAWEI U9508 using xda premium
I am really mad because of this, I am a fan of iLauncher/iNoty/iLocker and the dev promised a lot of great features in the future versions. I hope everything is ok and he will be back in playstore
You're not alone. I'm very mad too...
If you're paid, and if he remove apps for update and publish new, you're must buy these apps again...

anyone know an app like inoty or has updates on the developer?
Have any of you managed to replace the status bar of inoty also in the lockscreen?
Actually in the play store, the developer hasn't disappeared. But the apps (the ios-like ones) have disappeared. If you search Suckagomi in the play store he still has one app called icon 7 which is an old app but is still there...

you know of a similar app for notifications and status bar?
He has probably been forced to remove the apps from the PlayStore because I saw an other iOS 7 Launcher, and the developer mentioned that Google sent him an e-mail saying that he had to modify his app and make it less iOS7 or they'll have to remove it...

Well if it's really happened like this, the developer should inform about this instead of totally disappearing from Facebook and not responding to emails. All his apps are paid so there should be some sort of manners to paying customers...

Care to explain what it is? Some kind of jar reader?
It is a new app store competing against the android and amazon markets. It has alot of free apps. But it is not a hacker site or app. I downloaded the app after reading about it from android central or Droid life or one of those. You have to download it from the website like you had to with the amazon store. It is legit but I think the apps are the phone apps but of course we know some of them work on tablets. So far I have downloaded backbreaker but it was messed up and splashtop which worked. I also got beautiful widgets for free. I read a little bit about how the apps developers get paid and it is completely legit. Took me a minute to figure out how to download the app.

Then you have to add in the security code

Yeah, I had that problem too using dolphin for pad, I have the setting on desktop so the mobile site wouldn't load. Had to use stock browser to get the app. I guess I could have just changed the setting. Make sure you access the quick download at bottom of the page and put in security code that they give you.

I hate getjar - it's hard to use (download apps) and hard to publish apps (the have ridiculous adding process, and resolution requirements).
Once I figured out how to get the app, downloading apps is no harder then the market or Amazon's store. The app has it's own installer as well.

I'm not sure but if copyright of this App is ON maybe you can't install it, anyway search for "MarketEnabler" application in the market. (I can't post link's because I'm new and I need at least 8 post's)
I personally never try it but i read a good stuff for it.
I found it when i search for a same problem with my app in the market, but my issue was that it was filtered for the developer device and i didn't check it.

probably and advertisement that came from an app you downloaded. I hate those..
Find the app that is doing it, rate it 1 star then uninstall and find a better similar app where the developers aren't douchebags.
Having same problem. How do i find the app thats responsible?
I wouldn't know.. if it only happened recently and you installed apps recently I would start with those..
Maybe read comments on the apps you downloaded, many people will complain about it.
All the big apps are likely safe to assume they're not the one doing it. It's usually smaller apps, less known games that do it to bring in more money.
EDIT:
Actually I take that back. There is an app to see which apps are pushing those annoying advertisements:

Oh don't get me wrong, it's still an amusing app. It's new and a beta release. There's room for improvement. Like if I type a celebrities name, I want to see the celebs Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Not just what people are tweeting and hash tagging about the celeb. It's basically displaying Google results in app format. I'd like it much more of it was a widget instead of home launcher. At least I can keep it as an app.

If you type it out as everything.me, it will show up in the search bar where you can then click on it in the app store. But you are right, even searching for it correctly it won't show up in the list of apps. My guess would be because it is in beta. I believe the app store recently opened itself to beta apps, but they may be stored separately.
They are now available in parts of Europe.

So far from using Rom Toolbox (Pro) I was able to freeze the following:

-Backup Assistant Plus
-My Verizon Mobile
-SEAndroid
-Setup Wizard
-Sync Service (backup assistant)
-Verizon Login
-Verizon Mobile Security
-Verizon Remote Diagnostics
-Verizon Tones
-Verizon Navigator

-Voice Recorder
Uninstalled:
-NFL Mobile
-Audible
Cant find/figure out:
-Viewdini apk (no idea what this even is)
-VZW Mobile Hotspot apk
-Audible Re-installs itself.
Some of the apps were stubborn and needed to be frozen a couple of times for it to stick.

You do know that the built in disable feature cannot disable every app, right? Hence one reason some of us root out phones.

I could be mistaken but i think when you don't root, there isn't ALWAYS an option to disable an app. I know on my wife's phone there are some apps she has to leave in the app drawer because when you go to disable it, the "disable" button is greyed out. You can't click it.
If you root, you can disable EVERY app, even the ones with the greyed out buttons.
But i'm sure if i'm wrong you will correct me with all caps and annoying exclamation points

So do I open an app and place my phone the freezer and let it get frozen? And if I re-enable the app.. am I an enabler?

I could be mistaken but i think when you don't root, there isn't ALWAYS an option to disable an app. I know on my wife's phone there are some apps she has to leave in the app drawer because when you go to disable it, the "disable" button is greyed out. You can't click it.
If you root, you can disable EVERY app, even the ones with the greyed out buttons.
But i'm sure if i'm wrong you will correct me with all caps and annoying exclamation points

he better not correct you since you're correct. lol. i just didnt want to argue with dumb.
Just to clarify, by freezing applications it doesn't remove them, it just stops them from taking up system resources?

Correct.
All i have to say is one thing and hope this guy can comprehend .... If root is pointless to "freeze/disable" apps and only for flashing roms... then explain to us how you can disable Verizon apps without root (like VZ Backup Assistant) cause without root, the disable button is gone or grayed out.
wow...came here to see what apps people had uninstalled (instead of just freezing them) and all i got was dumber!
so...to try to salvage this thread....
what apps have you uninstalled without issue?
thanks
