Hello everyone,
I got an OTA update today and it said I needed to reboot my phone, which is an LG Optimus G E975.
When I did all I got was an error saying ''Secure booting Error!'' and under that ''Cause : boot certification verify''
What do I do now? I can't get in my phone at all and I have no knowledge on how to fix my phone and I really need it!
I would like to add that my phone was rooted.
If you guys could help me with this problem that would be amazing!

Also please keep in mind that im not good with cellphones, in other words.. I don't know how to flash something so if you could just give me a step by step solution that would be amazing.

Hello everyone.Im sorry for posting this without doing any research on the website but due to me serving the army i dont really have time to do proper research on the subject.
I recently bought a used LG OPTIMUS 2X (P990) That was rooted and came with the offical ics update that came out earlier this year.
Ive tried flashing ClockWorkMod Recovery through ROM Manager but it said my phone was Unsupported.Then i tried doing it automatically which ended up giving me the Red Mark and the Android bot which obviously means i didnt install it properly even thought i followed the steps correctly.
If anyone is willing to help please do so since i really dont have that much time to go at this all on my own and im frustrated

Hi guys , first timer here but anyway I've been trying to de-brick my LG optimus G and have had no success. I've attempted to use this video : [Guide] How to solve Security error / flash stock TOT file on LG optimus G/G2/G pro/G Pro2/G3 [HD]
I have gotten as far as opening that LG software but it doesn't doesn't register the phone ( i get a code 10 error on my USB device) but that's besides the point. Does anyone know another way to DE- brick this particular phone or am I out of luck
Also any advice on the code 10 error would be welcome as I've tried quite a few things.

Hello, and welcome to XDA!
I couldn't find any useful info on the code 10 error (except a suggestion to reinstall/update the device driver, and at worst, try a different PC - Windows 10, if you have it, can be a problem).
If you get past that hurdle, or if not, and are still having problems, I connected this thread to the LG Optimus G Q&A forum, where your device experts are found:

Good day everyone i know somebody have an issue of bootloop LG V10..and im one of them..so i hope some developers will make or provide a TOT file just like LG G4 to make our phone boot.
