When I open settings/app/running there is always number of applications having 0 processes and x services runing and RESTARTING.
Does anyone knows why it is happening an how to prevent it?
I dont think it is related to ram because it is happening even when there is over 100Mb free of RAM.

Might be aggresive memory "tweak" what ROM add-ons you have?
In performance settings:
Zram dissabled
Purging of assets and kernel samepage mergin enabled.
16bit transparency unchecked.
Surface improvement default
I noticed this started not after some performance settings were turned on but after more apps got instaled
But I'll revert back to default everything and report.
EDIT
Turned of all ram managment features. Apps now almost never restarting (saw it just once one app so far) and there is more free ram.
Thanks!

My phone app crawls like a snail. It takes around 5-10 seconds to open and is very unresponsive. Call is made 5 seconds after I tap a contact. I have checked again and again but this isn't a RAM issue. Usually more than 100mb RAM is free still the problem occurs.
I am on stock ics with kamarush kernel.

I have this problem with GB that's why I want to switch to ICS ;-)
Settings-developer-options-advanced-background process limit. Set this to none or up to 4. The lower, the more free ram you will maintain. This does not survive a reboot. So you must do it again each time you reboot your phone.
This makes your phone extremely fast. You'll notice soon as you own the app drawer. Lightning fast.

You can't multi task If your app force closes though. You have to be able to use it first.

Does this phone multi task? That's been a problem since it fell out of the box. And with jb it got worse

Why does my phone take so long to wake up I'm using venom Rom with zarbos kernel?
Sent from my HTC6435LVW using xda app-developers app
Low screen off clock speed I'm guessing.
Sent from my HTC6435LVW using xda app-developers app
I'm gonna have to agree with the low screen off clock speeds. Just reflash the kernel and up them. It should fix it.

Just tried that still didn't work and the choices I make don't stick. I choose stock speed no overclock but when i check in kernel tuner clockspeed is at max 1.8 and still takes forever to wake up. I am s-off and using clockwordmod

Uninstall kernel tuner and reinstall the kernel. Kernel tuner is known to mess stuff up.
Sent from my HTC6435LVW using xda app-developers app
Remove any cpu tuner because this kernel does not need it. Other ones do but not this one. Then reflash the kernel.

He's saying to uninstall it completely. Don't put it back on at all.
FWIW, I'm on Venom 1.2 and after trying a bunch of different set ups, what seems to work best for me is to simply uninstall all kernel managers and then install the kernel and run it "stock".
This has given me awesome battery life, no lag, and no boot issues.
Hello all, I'm looking for an app for my Sola CM 9.1 that works like the stock "extended battery mode".
Basically I need just something that turns off data while screen is locked but every maybe 5-15 minutes checks for whatsapp messages or other online things. I tried juice defender but it eats up too much ram, I need something simple that does this only thing, anyone knows something like this?

For a month or so. My i8552 is excessively heating..
Note:-
I am using stock deodexed rom with pure performance TX flashed over it and though it is basically lag free... It is overheating whenever I use 3g Internet...
Questions.:-
It is normal?
Will flashing latest stock rom from Sammobile solve my problem..?

It has nothing to do with ROMs or software. And yeah it's quite normal.
Any way to take control..?

Try checking which apps max out your CPU. At least you know what's causing it.
Then you can use profiles to limit the CPU activity for the apps.
As per samsung it is normal and natural.. you should not be worried about it..

Samsung have already mentioned in manual that overheating Is normal for our phone.

alternatively you may want to underclock your cpu... I think Project Engine Kernel has that feature
