I just upgraded from my Note2 to the Note3 and LOVE IT! The only problem is Netflix sound is way out of sync on the 3. Wifi, 3G and 4GLTE are all the same. The phone speaker, wired headphones, and BT headphones are the same too. I removed and reinstalled the app, talked to Netflix tech support and they said to reboot my home WiFi router, which didn't work. Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this. Thanks!
Normally I don't use netflix on my phone, but I saw your post, and this screen is amazing for it, so I wanted to try. And yes, audio sync issues here as well, only tried on wifi

My picture is actually pretty darn good streaming Netflix, but I see mouths move then hear the sound almost a full second later.

No issues on my end, I just watched Mythbusters and How I Met Your Mother with no issues at all. Maybe try clearing app data and trying again?

Same problem with my Verizon Note 3. Just watching on the phone itself, there is audio lag.
I have also tried the MHL adaptor, the allshare hub and even direct wifi casting to a Samsung TV at Bestbuy. All have unacceptable audio delay.
Did you ever find a solution? I have scoured many forums, and have never seen a solution.

Hi everyone, just wanted to show you guys a little video I made showing Wifi/BT enabled in action. I just received my Prime today serial #BC. I understand the issues Wifi/BT enabled together causes drops in Wifi signals, rendering streaming anything useless. I had that issue on my previous Prime which I returned for other issues. So far I'm able to stream and use my A2DP BT headset on my latest Prime. No bright spots, dead pixels, maybe a little light bleeding but nothing to complain about. Even the creeking sound on the bezel by the volume rocker is no longer an issue. Anyways here is the video. I'll run some more tests and give you more specifics later.
UPDATE! 04/27/12
Wifi/BT A2DP BT headset streaming.
[You can jump to 4:00/10:27 Streaming Netflix using A2DP BT headset.]
*This TF201 is not the original TF201 used in my first test of Wifi/BT but it is also SN# BC
The video above me is the latest video of my Prime streaming using A2DP BT headset.
I too have serial BCOKASxxxxxxx still running honeycomb but my wifi slows down drastically when Bluetooth is being used. In my test I used a Bluetooth speaker.
Running speedtest.net I first ran BT speaker off then I turned on the BT speaker then turned it off again.

Hi, I was paired with a BT headset as I showed in my video. The BT icon was showing activated and blue. I'll run a speed test today as requested.
Here is my speed test.
During the Speed test. I noticed that the initial run yielded very slow results barely 1mb. But when I ran the test 2 more times. It yielded much better results that coincides with the wifi reception that I was having which was full bars with no fluctuations. So end result is that this particular Prime seems to be un-affected by the current Wifi/BT pairing woes. Unfortunately, This Prime is not perfect. Just noticed that the Haptic feedback is defective. I also think my speaker may be blown but not obvious. Only when maxing out vol.

It could be because mine is still on honeycomb.

While youre doing the test do you have audio playing on the bluetooth device? I will need to try multiple speed test with bluetooth device on and see if my speed goes up after the 2nd or 3rd speed test.

Just to note I tested the same test I did on th 2nd post with my acer a100 and it did not have the issue whatsover even on first speed test with the bt device on.
I wonder if ICS has fixed this. Can someone else with ICS besides the OP test and see if you have this issue?

Yes I do have audio going through my BT headset. Initially I just turned on BT and headset without streaming anything and ran the speedtest. Then ran the same test with BT paired and streaming. Audio was going through my BT headset. Same results no slowdowns.
Edit: Just FYI my previous Prime was on latest ICS. It had Wifi/BT problems fall out issues. This Prime with same BC serial # Isn't affected for some reason and it's on ICS.

Good to know. Sounds more like a hardware related issue but my issue isn't wifi drop out. Was that the common issue others are reporting?

Yes. When both wifi and BT are enabled. When streaming online and using BT headset device or BT speakers for audio. Wifi signals dropped dramatically. Making streaming videos un watchable. But when you disable BT and stream it's not an issue.
It is really disconcerting how much variation there seems to be from one Prime to the next.

Ok so I do have the issue others are reporting. That sucks. I bought mine from hhgregg and I really don't want to have to return or send it back. I was hoping this would be a software bug and just wait to get fixed.
EDIT: I should start reading the stickys...it was only the 1st thing on the list. Thanks. It looks like they have 2 solutions that they're going to roll out soon. So it sounds like it's software. That's a relief.

Thank you both so much for your findings.. I have a store about 30 miles from here that reports stock of the Prime. I returned mine a couple days ago, and am really missing it!!! However, I've been trying to figure out if it's certain batches that are more prone to the issues I can't have or if it's a generalized (which it seems) and serial #'s are specific to the problems. Anyway, thank you both again!
On my 3rd Prime now and they all have the Bluetooth / Wi-Fi issue.

I doubt that this will gain anymore attention. It's not as exciting to people when things do work for someone to comment on I suppose. It's funner to complain. Maybe if I mentioned...
"It's better when it's a tight fit. Being too loose isn't good for the dongle" may garner more of a response lol.

Let me preface this with "Yes, I did search". However, I know I am horrible at searching. For some reason the string I use rarely results in the desired results. Nonetheless, after 30-40 minutes of searching I feel reasonably sure that either these questions haven't been asked before, or the answers are so simple, no one felt the need to ask them.
I've got some music videos on my Note, and I'd like to play them on my TV through an HDMI port.
1) Is there a micro USB to HDMI conversion cable?
2) Is the Note capable of a video output?
3) Is there a way to make a video playlist so that the music videos will play back to back without my having to start a new one every time?
Thanks for any answers... or even links to threads asking these same questions that I wasn't able to find.

1. You need a mhl adapter. Check amazon.
2. Yes, with said adapter
3. Check Google market, there are a few video players that support playlists.

Has anyone run video out off their Note yet? Any hints for best results?
Mobo Video Pro just locks up. Couldn't figure out a way to get MixZing to play more than one music video at a time. I tried WinAmp, and I'm sure I can make a playlist, but I'd really rather just have the player open the folder and play everything in the folder.

If you have a PS3, you can use your existing PS3 controller as well (if you're rooted), since it's bluetooth.
Those adapters support audio out as well? I think I need to scrounge up some extra cash...

Yes they do audio out too.
If you use PS3 controller you need sixasis drivers. You can also use the wiimote with the correct drivers.
Still haven't found a good video player. Any suggestions?

I have noticed when i pair my SG3 with my Nissan Maxima, it pairs easily... but sometimes it just disconnects from the car.
After i turn off the car and restart it, the BT does not re-connect. Anyone else experience that? Are their any fixes?
The BT options have selections for Phone and audio (i am assuming for Pandora, etc)
i have only had it stream audio once playing a movie and it only kicked in after about 2 minutes.

I have this w/ my bluetooth when dialing, i have to tell it to repair. Not sure how to sync w/ bluetooth audio for Pandor or what not. I have a 2012 Murano. Is it an additional option?
i use a panasonic link2cell cordless phone and it does not autoconnect when i get home and come into range or turn on bluetooth.
that's my biggest complaint about the phone. My old captivate worked great it autoconnected as soon as i turned on blutooth or came into range. S3 requires i go into the settings for the device and manually connect. Not sure why they made it take 4 extra steps to do such a simple task and i hope they fix it soon.

yea i've had it for over a year and been really happy with it. I've only noticed poor SQ if i take the cell too far away from the base. I pretty much just plug my cell into a charger and leave it right next to the base station for the cordless because the range for BT isn't that great.
I also use an obi100 with google voice on the same cordless and have found that the L2C has better SQ than the obi/GV.
I pretty much make/answer all calls over the L2C and hardly use the obi/GV really. Just make sure you leave the cell near the L2C base.

probably. Every once in a while i will forget and leave cell in my pocket or something and walk too far away from the base station and then the SQ sucks... gets all scratchy.

i used chat to find out how to make it automatically connect and go into the 'call audio profile' and this is what they said
"I am to inform you that, Galaxy S3 is designed with security purpose all in built in features are different compared with other devices this always seeks the permission of the user to access any thing it is designed with all business purpose features this is the reason that there is no built in feature to connect the device even it is paired."
lol
I also tried phone support and that guy tried to say it was because of the NFC lol.. when i called him out on that he basically said he didnt know but he 'escalated' my concern and i could try calling back in a couple of days to see if there was a work around.
I just want it to connect and use bluetooth device automatically after the intial pairing... S1 did it and so should the s3.
I know some of that security talk is true but I thought that was for a enterprise version of gs3 to be later released

I also have a Nissan Maxima and experienced the same problem with connect/reconnect as well as issues with bluetooth streaming music. With the latest OTA update that was released last week by AT&T for the GS3, mine is working with no issues. It connects as expected, bluetooth audio streaming now works reliably, and the added the Bluetooth AVRCP profile which enables your car deck to display track, artist, and album info on the display. Sweet!

Hi,
I have a strange problem with my desire X, when im listening to music in any music player (stock, winamp or any other) or watching a video through DX player, it will pause the music from time to time. I cant pinpoint what is the cause of that issue, i tried turning off beats audio, listening without headphones, while charing the battery, with and without internet connection, air plane mode, or different sd card.
Any had a similar problem?
Any possible solutions?

It's a known bug in the JB update for the Desire X, I'm afraid you'll have to bear it while HTC get their act together. At the moment there's no way to fix it, I'm afraid. Next time have a quick look around the forums before you post the same question as many other people

Maybe I have a clue. Actually this phone has a feature that it pauses all media video audio players if you disconnect the headphones or hand free. My guess is that your audio jack is faulty due to which the phone thinks that it has a headphone which got disconnected hence pauses the video or audio. Some lose connection inside the jack. Have some technician look at the audio jack, I hope it will be fixed. Had a similar issue with my previous desire. It's joystick was faulty causing forward or rewind in players.

Hmm, ill try to clean it.
As for the damaged cable, i seriously doubt thats the cause, because it happened on my headphones, on the jack from the speakers and on the jack from the car tape( for the casette tape radio ).
Thanks to all for the reply.
Hopefully i will be able to solve the problem, and maybe one day i will be able to get the update to jelly bean.
Time ago I had the same problem on an old Nokia 5310 and it was due to a rusty jack that messed up the jack input.
It worked fine after I used a cloth and some alcohol to clean it.

Also my GPS seems to like to stop working in WAZE a fair amount of the time. I don't use other nav programs so I don't know about those.
Yea I think this is a problem when you have your phone plugged into the charger in your car.
