Not sure what you meant mate. If your rom is already rooted, flashing a kernel wont change it

you will not lose root unless you flash a stock .ftf file or a rom that (somehow) is not pre rooted

New firmware or new rom?
If that rom is pre-rooted then it is rooted.

[Request] Downgrade sony xperia u

I want to downgrade my xperia U to Android 2.3.7. I updated it to 4.0.4. (B.100). But after update , there are many lags..
Someone plese tell me how to download (give me a link) official stock gingerbread firmware. Thank you very much. :thumbup:
