Im have problems using wifi tether for rooted users. Im trying to use my galaxy s2 as a hotspot to my Ipad mini. Now my phone is running jelly bean 4.1.2 and its rooted. And my phone model is SGH-T989... can anyone help me?

I have recently tried to root my verizon galaxy s3 using the ExynosAbuse-v1.40.apk and it fails everytime. I am running Android 4.1.1(jellybean). Has anyone else had the same issue and if so have you found a workaround or fix for this?
