I have some apps such as Google Drive where I have no options to set the download directory, so it will only download to my internal storage in the default Downloads folder. How can I change this default Downloads folder to something else?

What version of Android are you running?
I am using Android 4.2.2.
Try this one

Problem with this is that I still have to manually copy from the download folder to where I want. Is there really no way to set Android's default download directory to a custom location so that all apps will refer to that custom location as the default?

Can't seem to find this anywhere, but is there a way to change the default directory for downloads? For example, I'd like my downloads to go to sdcard2 instead of sdcard.
Anyone know? Thanks!
Native/Stock Download app doesn't seem to recognize any files put in the /sdcard/Download folder.
I moved a bunch of files from my previous phone into the /sdcard/Download folder but none of the files seem to be recognized at all by
the native/stock download app (they simply do not appear on the screen).
And I am sure it is the correct folder because I have downloaded more files since I got this phone and the files are saved in the same location
(/sdcard/Download) and being recognized by the stock download app.
I have also ES Explorer installed but just thought I like the look of native download app plus it is linked from the notification bar.
Anyway I could fix this?
Thanks!

The Download app does not "recognize" files, it has a history of files you downloaded through it.
To access the data on the storage, use apps such as "File manager" (Stock), "OI File Manager" (free) or "ES File manager" (also free)
This is probably a stupid question, but I'm wondering where the actual folder location for the Downloads app/button that is in the app drawer is. Well, it shows up in the app drawer but I'm sure it's not an app. I'm running 4.4.2. Nothing I've ever downloaded goes there. It always ends up on the sd card in the download folder.
So what is the app/button good for? And is there a way to redirect downloads to go there? Seems like an easy way to check what you downloaded without using a file manager. If it only worked.
Downloads app is a download manager. You can see your current downloads and the finished ones there (not every download though...Chrome downloads appear there, for example), install or delete downloaded apps. But your files still go to sdcard download folder.
Im already done kitkat update, but in my lenovo theme(ROW) center has 2 theme only and no option to download more from a web.
Download from here:
Code:
https://cloud.mail.ru/public/af00345913d7/.LenovoTheme.rar
Than put those themes in hidden folder .LenovoThemes (copy --> paste) on your default storage memory card (internal or sd card).
where to find hidden folder .LenovoThemes?
Already download. After finished the archive is either in unknown format or damaged.

There is an app named as DiagPro. When it installed, it must create a folder named as cnlaunch in internal memory like DCIM, Music, Alarms or others. At android 4.2.2 or at some devices it can not create folder so it cannot work. But the weird thing is it can do at most of the other versions and other devices and the older version of DiagPro can create folder at any version of android too. I need to use the newest version but i couldn't find the solution. What can be the solution for this? I am thinking about permission issue but older app can create. Maybe the default name of the internal memory may be a problem.
