Is it possible to move or remove the lock screen widget - AT&T HTC One (M7)

I'm using Themer App and DashClock. the only thing is that on the HTC One I already have a weather/time/date widget so I have duplicate info on my lock screen.
Is it possible to move or remove the lock screen widget on the HTC One Android 4.3

[Q] widget locker

Hello
Using widget locker latest version with cm 7 nightly 28 and when enabled both lockscreens show up all the time..also have it on my desire so I mirrored the settings to no avail, anyone any suggestions?

If i understand your problem correctly, you need to enable Widget Locker Helper in settings. That should solve problem.
Get a app called no lock on market. Install it then open n enable then u should only have one lock screen

if you're on cm7 you dont have to do anything, just enable the 5 root bypass rule in widget locker.
I've done the widget locker settings daddy spud I'm not using extra apps when I know widgetlocker can do it. I'll go to latest nightly with full format hope it sorts it!

Widgets on lock screen, and security lock.

Hi guys and girls.
My girlfriend bought a SG2, ans she loves it.
She came from an iPhone and is kind of used with the shortcuts on the lock screen.
What I know, you can't add Widgets AND have a security lock on the phone.
She wants to have shortcuts to camera and music controls on the lock screen.
So my question is: Is there any apps to do this? Or do I have to root her phone? (Witch I'm going to when I have the time to read up. Got a HTC my self) And when I root her phone, what is the best rom? She wants a phone that works, nothing special. ( I'm thinking ICS )

You can buy Widget Locker from the market, but you need to be rooted.

Also some Roms allow you to add widgets/Music controls to the lockscreen.
Doesn't really work, she needs the security lock. (Pattern) thanks for the reply though.

Check in settings and you can set up your phone to have a pin or different lockscreen

You can set up pattern lock or password and still use widget locker.
Thanks for the reply guys. I look into it

HTC TV Remote Widget?

I haven't seen a thread for this but there may already be one. I was wondering if there is a widget that allows you to control your TV from the home screens rather than having to open up TV app. It isn't a big deal to have to open the app it would just be easier to have a widget.
Thanks for any and all help.

If you use it often, you can click and drag it from apps to your quick launch bar with the phone or email or Internet.

I do use it very often but I use those other apps even more so I am keeping them there.

You can add to it and it automatically creates a folder. See my home screen.

Yeah I did that at one point. Just didn't care for how the folders look. I guess I was just really hoping there was a widget. Like how it is in the notification center. but on the home screen. I also think that htc should have spent a little more time on this functionality and made it so that the notification center banner action executed the remote actions rather than taking you back to the remote app.

Got it. FWIW, Nova Prime launcher has multiple/scrollable quick launch menu without the folder.

Yup yup. HTC did an amazing job with sense 5. Easily the best iteration of it to date.

[Q] Wakeup Straight to home 4.4.2

With the new Kitkat update on T-Mobile They force u to use a security screen and i was wondering is there anyway to bypass all forms of lock screen on wakeup?
I have just a basic lock screen, but there aren't any security features. I don't think I've had an Android phone that allows one to go directly to the home screen.
Sent from my HTC One using xda app-developers app
This phone use to have that option. Now with the update that option is gone.

There's apps in the Play Store that bypass lock screens. I think there's one called No Lock

also no more lockscreen wallpaper settings option. TY 4.4.2.......sux
