Hi guys, I just bought a i9300 two days ago and I have no idea what rom and tweaks to use on it and what bugs or issues I should stay away. Looking for a ROM which tends to fulfill the criteria (performance, stability, good battery) and a number of tweaks that works well on i9300 so I would be grateful for a little assistance.
##PS I am sorry that I took the short road and not searched on forum more time ,but I am afraid that is something that I gonna miss and brick my phone .{like /efs brick } .

Best rom what rom posts are banned as we get ten a day .
Read the faqs and guides first if you do not want to brick your phone through ignorance .

These sort of best rom posts are banned .
Why well no such thing as a best whats best for you is not best for me .
Neither do multiple thread asking the exact same question you asked .
Your conclusion as to most popular does not mean that its a good rom nor can you judge from the number of posts in a rom thread how god or popular it is as 99% of some posts are just muppets who cannot follow instructions .
Most used rom by user base simple stock GB .

Hi guys,
i know most of you are thinking now why i dont search or google or something else but really i cant do anything about this.
I am new to flashing and rooting and i rooted my s3 ella i9300 version with the samsung toolkit v 7.0 via odin.

But srsly, there is no good tutorial for newbies. i cant understand why the developers never try to help us noobs in such situations like this.
So please can anyone help me out? I went into the download section of the ROM but there are so many files i dont know which to take and download...

Yes but you would be better not flashing that rom . But spending time reading the basics first as you are lacking in even the first steps .
Noobs are expected to read first flash last this is a developers forum for developers . Those that don't bother to learn the basics are not going to be spoonfed .
So seriously you read the posted stickied faqs and guides or suffer a bricked phone your choice .

Hi all, ok its been a very long time since i rooted my sg3 , ok i have an s3 locked to vodafone and is running rom 4.1.2 baseband I9300XXEMG4, So is this normal verizon/sprint phone and yes im in the UK.
What i need to no is can somebody post a link to me and the latest easier way to root my S3 Please, sorry to have forgotton the whole thing but its been ages since i last rooted,
Also are there any latest sound boosting hacks that are available now ?
And finally sorry for posting in wrong section to the admin if i have.

Suggest you go read the sticky thread in general, rather than posting questions already asked a thousand times.
Start by finding out what phone you have .
Details are under the battery .
If it is an I9300 then all the information is posted .
Basics read first.

Oh i am of the same opinion your question made no sense as sprint verizon is USA and therefore would be in the wrong forum .Likely you would brick the phone if asking for
information here would be extremely high if that was the case and you suggest you have Vodaphone UK phone but ask about some other model .

Hello,
I have an S3 I9300, international and when i flash MS TEAM HD 12.1 ROM i have an issue whit modem, phone can`t conect to network, get this error: No service .
If i try to see IMEI (*#06#) i can clear see it (is not null) .
I try to install anothers modem with no success .
Can anyone help me ?
Perhaps i didn`t use the correct version of modem .

(1) question like "what rom/recovery/whatever use" are not allowed due to forum rules
(2) Start by reading all guides to get a background on roms, recovery, rooting, flashing etc.
(3) a good start to give you an overview is the development's section recovery threads, the most used, I feel, is Philz recovery, but I am neither telling you to use it or that it is the best, as this is personal perception

You misunderstand .
The rules say search first and you should have read the faqs and guides first .
So no the same question that is posted hundreds of times and is now posted again as the user is to lazy to read is not wanted noob or not .
