Caseology Slim Fit Leather - Galaxy Note 3 Accessories

Just received this case. Great fit and quality. Feels just like the back cover of the note 3 only softer. Worth a look for a cheaper case until the better ones come down in price.

In the pictures it looked better than stock battery cover. However I have the white one and it looks bad and feels softer like you said but to me it doesn't look as nice.

I just got home and my white leather back hybrid matte Casology was waiting for me, I love it. I ordered matte not wanting a shiny look or a slippery back, the back of my Samsung S-View case is 5 times as shiny and smooth as this. I left my N3 back cover in the other car and can't compare atm. Like he said tho the fit and finish is very nice and I like the lip around the front edges as it is just the right height to protect it lying it face down. I paid 7.99 on Ebay with free shipping and it got here in 2 days, Amazon has it for 5 dollars and 2.99 shipping so same price. Remember there are two versions of each color. I took this pic in almost darkness, can;t use a flash right no lol but believe me its just as nice or nicer than the photos on Amazon and Ebay.

For the price, it's a great deal (my black "leather" was $1.99 on Amazon plus $2.99 shipping). I don't know your experience, but with mine, I had to either, (1) cut the opening of the case around the plug port bigger, or (2) cut away some of the rubber on my microusb plug connector, since I couldn't get it to fit all the way in. The plug on the Samsung cable that came with the phone did fit with no problem however... it was all my "third party" microusb cables that wouldn't fit well.

I also just received mine today, but sadly I have no Note 3 to put into it. :crying:
NEGGGGGRRRRRIIIIIIIIi!!!!!!

I received mine today and will be ordering another one. The one I ordered is the White leather. Everything fits perfectly. No bulk. I also love the nice container it came in.

I got the black one today as well. I'm pleasantly surprised by this case for paying next to nothing for it.

The only thing I'm not crazy about is this print on the back (caseology). it was stamped uneven on my case and it just looks like an eyesore. I wonder if it can be removed without hurting the material

True not any Worst than the carriers name . Let me know if u find away to do that if u try it

I received my blue leather case. The back of the leather case has a very nice texture to it. Definitely great for the price. I bought a white leather and black matte with the promo.

Just got mine last night. Ordered it in Black Leather. Quality is better than I expected and fits very snug. Adds very little bulk, grip is good, and has that lip on the front screen I like very much. At first there was some difficulty pressing the power button but got used to it pretty fast. All in all, definitely worth the money!

Last night I got the only case available at the closest T-Mobile store. It's from Tech21 and cost $35, with a nice grippy texture & "D3O impact material".
Meh.
Here's a picture taken with my nexus 10 that might show the poor fit at the side of the screen.
View attachment 2303496
That extra shiny edge at the right is the silver frame/side of the Note 3.
I'll probably return it today because the sides flex too much & I'm afraid it'll screw up a screen protector.
It also makes the phone a little harder to fit in some pockets because of the combination of added bulk & drag from the texture.
I'll try to get something with a TPO inner layer and enough plastic on the outside to not drag too badly going into a pocket. That might be like looking for a unicorn since there are so few cases available right now, and almost none I can see in person.

I have same case as well. It's very slim.
I got that case too for now, it fits perfectly if you squeeze in all around as it molds to the phone a little bit and you won't see any gap afterwards. If it was clear and not smoky I would keep it, there are alternatives on Amazon for 1/3rd the price. Not that I mind spending 35 dollars for a case but not one so simple, give me a slim fit Speck or BodyGlove with a kickstand and I'm all over it and they usually go for 25 -35 dollars.
Tech21
I bought one these also for TMO note 3 until they start pushing out some other choices.

OK, I returned the Tech 21 case and they showed me another that came in today. It was by Bodyglove, the same price, made of shiny black TPU. It felt good on the phone and had a good grip in the hand. The sides felt a little stiffer than the first on, EXCEPT at the buttons. Above the buttons the TPU flexed way too much. I'm pretty sure it'll rub at the edge of a screen protector, maybe enough to make the screen protector lift.
I'll just have to wait on a Slim Armor, or something else with a hard shell over a soft liner.

I ended up buying the body glove for now, and so far its pretty good, I can't wait for my UAG case to come in though.
I bought this a temporary, and it's not that great imo , as the power button is pretty hard to depress.
I also bought this as a "temporary case" and actually like it as well-- much slimmer than I thought it would be. I also like the "grippy" material on the back that doesn't slide around in my car. I had the "official" samsung case on my note 2, and that thing would fly across my car/lap/seat any time I made a turn.
Look forward to seeing other options come out though. Great job by Tech21, imo.

Cases that are otter box level protection?

I jsut got my note 3 this morning and am wondering what my choices are for cases. I am retardedly hard on my phones. I dont believe I have ever not broken the glass on any of my phones and Id like to put that to an end.
I see they finally released a defender for the note 3, but im wondering if there are any other choices out there. I think the otter box is kinda ugly.. I undertsand cases that offer that sort of protection are bulky, but they dont have to be so blandish and grey.
I would like to run a tempered glass screen protector because I loved the one I had on my note 2 but ill sacrifice a good case with no glass protector.
thanks guys

Failing that, does anybody know of a decent case that supports NFC and has a belt clip?

The seidio ones are by far the best cases out there in my opinion. I've had a lot of cases for all my iPads and iPhones and now my note etc. Otterbox I'm not a fan of because of the annoying screen protector and man are they ugly.
I went the seidio route years ago and could never turn back since. If you chose to to go with the belt clip option, it's just fantastic. It's the only belt clip I trust while on my motobikes and going up and down a ladder at work.
Ive even dropped my phone at the motocross track and had a car run over it and never had a problem, although I'm sure I'm pushing my luck lol.
That said, for those times you don't need that much protection the outside layers come off revealing a stick thin case as well... So it's like multi purpose!

Thanks — that looks like a good case... if only somebody in the UK stocked it! (nearly $25 in shipping, and probably customs charges on top, doesn't really appeal... and their UK reseller doesn't list the holster or have the case in the colour I want!)
I'm a big fan of the cheapie hybrid cases from ebay & Amazon. I have a few different styles, I just got this one this one yesterday & I feel like I could safely hurl my phone at a brick wall with it on.
This one is also really good. Fits nice & tight and offers a lot of nice grip.
Frankly I like these kinds better than the real OBs because once the silicone wears out in 3 months, you don't feel ripped off cause you only spend $8 versus $60. Plus, colors
I have a Mime USA tempered glass protector and if you want to go that way (or with any other brand) you could get a Ballistic Case SG MAXX case as somebody else suggested. Steer away from Otterbox OR Trident Case, as you will not be able to snap the two case's pieces together because of the glass' added thickness. As a matter of fact, stay away from any case which has rigid parts going over the screen if you go with glass protector.
I ended up going with the UAG/Spigen TR combo. Should be here tomorrow afternoon. 72$ with free 2 day shipping from amazon. I'll let everyone know how it goes

Tudia Note 3 TPU Case Black (one of the thinnest with full body coverage)

Tudia Note 3 TPU case in black:
- All the holes line up perfectly.
-Stylus, camera, and power plug line up good.
-Thinnest case for the note 3.. MUCH thinner than the caseology one. Slightly thinner than Diztronic too (by like a hair).
-LMT launcher friendly because the bezel sits flatter compared to other cases.
-Drop protection seems to be good but don't expect miracles.
-Probably the thinnest it's gonna get without being hard plastic with limited coverage.
-I have a Qi charging pad installed and it still fits the phone fine, will update regarding fitment when I get the original OEM samsung charging back.
Also available in BLUE, RED, or PURPLE.
Best thing of all.. $7.00 on amazon!

I was considering the spigen bounce and it looks to be a very well designed case, but I wanted to LEAST possible amount of bulk. I can honestly say since the bounce is a bit thicker so the tudia probably won't protect as well but protection was not my main concern.

The one I linked doesn't seem to have any reviews but it's quite affordable (free shipping too) so it may be worth a shot. I originally tried the bearmotion glass protector (which also had no reviews at the time) from amazon and i'm pretty happy with mine. I would recommend the one I have but unfortunately it doesn't seem to be on amazon.co.uk.
Ordered mine Saturday after reading this thread. Just got it today. Fast delivery. WOW!
I like this case. Def a tad slimmer than Diztronic's case.
I can confirm all cutouts are good. Front lip of the case covers all of the metal band of the phone and ever so slightly overlaps my screen protector. A seemless look on the front. For $7.00 and free shipping, this a great deal for a minimal case.
I recommend it for budget-minded folks.
I just got mine, the cutout for the humidity sensor is off like in the picture above. Quality does not feel as good as Diztronic IMHO. For the money, however it's good and should provide basic protection against scratches and bumps, etc.
It looks like a cross between the Incipio Frequency and Cimo (glossy finish edge, soft TPU)...
Thickness is measured at 11.25mm
Diztronic thickness is 11.43mm
Both measurements taken with phone in the case.
Looks solid and thanks for the review!
Just got myself a GN3 and will be getting this case.
Again, THANKS!

Here...its a MAJOR GO!
Thats not me...
I've had the 9H for 2-3 months now and mine has started to lift a little. It started last week and stretches from the upper left hand corner to the edge of the glass directly above the Samsung S.
It's no better than a $7 one from ebay and their CS is far from impressive.
Try the MIME USA Feather Glass, rated 9H and .15mm thick. Mine has been on for a couple of months and still looks brand new.

Flossy Carter made a review of this on youtube if you want to check it out!
I used the MIME Ghost Glass on my S4 and was amazing so I bought it for the Note 3 and I'm loving it as well. Plus lifetime warranty. It ever breaks... It's half price to replace as many times as you need to.
Thing about those lifetime warranties is that you could buy at least 2 generic ebay ones for the price of one MIME replacement (or w/e brand).
Yeah but they are better. The cheap ones a lot of the time don't add the oleophobic coating they start to look bad in a short amount of time. My S4 looks today like it did it did when i put it on back in June.
ive been using the iloome one for over a month now and it gets scratched REAL easy. then again ive been trying to see just how scratch resistant it is by sliding it around on a smooth table face down. and yeah it scratches SO easy wow. i havent tried other ones but im sure they all do.

No problems. But I do use the magnetic accessory from a spigen that holds the cover closed. The cover was able to stay closed before I used this magnetic addition, however after prolonged use (being flipped open and folded over) it would have a tendency to not lay flat on the screen. This was always a tendency of the S view cover and not due to the glass screen protector.

Im leaning more towards Mime but im not sure which to get. Feather or ghost glass? In their website it shows they both have different cutouts on top. Is that the case or are they both cut the same?

I have had this a month and it is crystal clear and works great with S Pen. I use this with Zero Lemon 10000 mAh battery. Great together. Shout out to Flossy for his reviews!

Minimalist Bumper without Screws

This looks like a good case for those who like minimalist cases. i have a red aluminum bumper which needs screws .. this one looks very good, does anyone have this case ?
wondering which color would be better for a black phone, if i get a silver one , it will almost look like the phone is without a case
What do you guys think?

Damn it. I really wish I saw this three days ago. Just bought a case with screws, but I like that this one has the ribbing around the case like our phones have on the fake metal. Seriously Damn it. Well post pictures please when you guys get them, maybe I'll order one anyway

whats the color of your phone, if its black i am waiting for the pictures, site only has pictures from a white phone ....
You might have to probably wait another month to get the cases though, they ship only after feb 7 due to Chinese new year.
Looking for bumper or slim case also. I like the metal look.
I would be a little scared that the metal may wear or damage the plastic underneath. I have only had the phone for 2 days. Anyone have issues with damage or chipped edges on these phones?
Other then that loving the phone so far.
These types of cases usually have foam or rubber on the inside to prevent such issues.

I have to say I was worried about the same thing and have had this phone without a case since it came out. I have never dropped it, never carry keys in the same pocket or anything in there and take meticulous care of this phone. I now have three places that chrome trim is chipped without ever doing anything to it, so as I see it, it can't get worse with adding a case

Just ordered it from Amazon. Under $5, you can't beat that. I ordered a gold one hoping that it looks like that other one from the other website you posted. I think they just photo shopped this gold one cause they are all the generic pictures. We'll see

Ordered one two. Doesn't expect to be delivered until February 10th though. :-\
Edit: I really meant delivery is expected February 20-March 10th...facepalm

Just saw that, if you pay for shipping Amazon sends it in 5 days. Free shipping I assume is the bumper coming from China with those expected dates.

I had a metal bumper and it scratched the bezel of the phone
fortunately I was able to get an exchange on extended warranty due to proximity issues, now I have a spanking new phone.
Be careful with metal bumpers

Got my "CITUS" bumper from Amazon today. Like it so much more than bumpers with screws! Love how back is cut out so charger fits good.

Best thing I have to take pics with is my Note. Let me see if I can borrow a phone and I will, lol. Give me a bit, please. I ordered it in the electric-ish blue color for black phone.

Buttons being flush on sides others may not like but personally perfect for me. Easy to feel/find in dark but not as accidentally pressed by my father fingers. Latch is on top side, works far better than anticipated really. Lovin' the blue on black. Also, bottom is cut out so charger size issues should be alleviated.
