Cannot sync Google Calendars {moPROJECT42 V8 STABLE} - Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo, Pro

I cannot sync my Google Calendars in moPROJECT42 V8 STABLE (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2265805). In "Accounts">"Google">My account, and there is no option to sync Calendars. In Google Calendar App I go to "Configuration" then I tap on [email protected] and it says "You have no calendars" (That's not true, I have serveral calendars on this account and I have been using them in Gingerbread and they were working and are still online). Even when I go to "Visible Calendars" > "Calendars for Sync" .. It says "Loading.." and stays that way for ever.
Is there any way to fix this up or any alternative way to sync my Google Calendars?
Greetings.

I get the same but if I go into Google Calendar and sync, I am able to save the event.
The same issue for me here..
I create an event in the phone calendar, then I go to web Google calendar to check the event, and it's not there.. Even if I try syncing manually multiple times..
It's strange behavior because sometimes events sync and shown in Google calendar immediately when created in the phone..
Is there a fix for this issue ?
I had a slightly different message and figured something out, mine was
"Google calendar cannot sync with Samsung Kies. Use My calendar to sync with Kies"
AND
"Local calendar cannot sync with Google calendar. You need a google account"
It then gives me the option to go to accounts and sync, when I do so the calendar gets stuck with the syncing.
But when I create an event it syncs to my google calendar. So I just set it to ignore and things seem to work fine.Anyone else?

[Q] Add non-google calendar?

I promise I searched, all the threads I found were about adding a second Google calendar from a Google account (sub calendar).
On her Galaxy Tab there are 2 calendars, the Google account calendar and a "My Calendar". We use My Phone Explorer to sync the tablet with her Outlook on the PC without involving Google and it synchronizes to the My Calendar calendar. On her Moto XPRT there is only the Google account calendar. My Phone Explorer will sync to the XPRT using the Google account calendar. The downside is that any changes/creations she makes on the phone will not be visible on the tablet unless she shows both the Google and "My Calendar" calendars on the tablet. We would like to not involve Google. Adding a "My Calendar" calendar to the XPRT would allow us to do this. Unfortunately Calendar -> More -> Calendars -> Does not have the Menu -> Add Calendar that I've seen in other threads were they describe adding new calendars.
Is there another way or a different menu sequence to add new non-Google based calendars that are contained on the device?

[Q] Calendar Sync

Hello
I'm having trouble getting the Calendar on the SGS2 to sync with the Calendar on google?
Now I can create an appointment, and it appears on google and the phone, but if I create it on Google the phone won't update.
The sync checkbox is ticked, and every time I create a new event on the Calendar i'm greeted by
"Google calendar cannot sync with Samsung Kies. Use My Calendar to sync with Kies"
followed by
"Local calendar cannot sync with Google calendar. You need a Google account"
So I have sync running, emails are pushing, and as I said items created on the Phone push to Google, but I can't get Google to push back to the phone, can anyone explain to me what i'm doing wrong
Many Thanks,
Luke.
I have the same problem. Have had the problem for a while on multiple roms and kernels

O great, so its F'd then
Maybe i'll be getting the Galaxy Nexus then.
The Calendar app can work with many calendar sources. I have it syncing it with gmail, yahoo and also the phone's internal calendar (which is also the one KIES deals with).
When you go into Calendar -> Menu -> Settings -> Calendars. You will see all the accounts that independently sync with the Calendar app. So you can have an appointment via a work's account and another appointment via your gmail account. The gmail appointment will only sync with the gmail account and the work's appointment will only sync with the work's account.
What it appears to be is that you create an appointment in gmail (on the web) and it will happily appear on the web and also on your phone soon after. Any modifications to that appointment on the phone will appear on the web.
A new appointment created on the phone is saved as a local calendar event. Go to Calendar -> Menu -> Create. You will see half-way down an option called 'Calendar' select your gmail account from this option. As long as you save the new appointment the Calendar app will use that as the default calendar.
Please use the Q&A Forum for questions Thanks

I have had the stock calendar working but I would highly recommend Business Calendar.
Way better in every way.

No option to sync calendar

Even though I created my Google account from the phone, I only see the option to sync Books, Contact and Gmail from Accounts and Sync. Even if I go into the calendar's settings it throws me back to the same selections - with no way to sync the calendar. Sure enough, none of the items on the web version of the calendar show up on the phone.
You might want to recreating your Google account. I sync calendars just fine and all I did was add my account to the phone.
That worked, deleted my account and re-added it, now the calendar shows up as an option to sync. And everything shows up on the calendar.
