Dont know if i got it all but that knox crap is deleted too along with tons of bloatware, I got 1.04 gb free, if someone wants to do a bloatware deleted post of all they deleted or froze then we can all compare and may find more to do away with.

AGREED.
I'm hoping someone can do the Tethering Entitlement hack. I did some looking into and it should just be deleting the check under /res/values/array.xml in framework-res.apk. I already decompiled and recompiled with the fix but I can't figure out how to replace the framework without a boot loop.

As some of you may have noticed, I started a thread in the general section about this and I finally finished it. Even though Titanium Backup makes restoring apps easier, this will allow you to do so from recovery right after flashing your rom. I will continue to add apps that are requested and remove any that are not needed. Keep in mind that this is more of an essential app pack and I will not be adding every single app in the market as I don't want the file too large. Feel free to suggest any apps that are free. I will not include paid apps for obvious reasons. The next update will have a folder to drop your own paid apks in. All apps up to date as of Jan 1st as far as i know. The following is a list of the first release:
(Note: Apps in Root Tools folder install to system)
Browsers: Dolphin, Firefox, Firefox Beta, Chrome
Media: Pandora, Quickpic
Misc: 1Weather (Very nice weather app)
Root Tools: Ad Free, Android Tuner Free, Battery Calibration 1.2 by Nema, Build Prop Editor, CPU Spy, Kernel Tuner, MD5 Checker, No Frills CPU, Quickboot, System Tuner, Titanium Backup (of course)
SMS: Go SMS Pro, Handcent SMS
Social: Facebook, Google+, XDA App
Storage: Box, Dropbox, Google Drive
Tools: Astro File Manager, Battery Monitor Widget, Cache Cleaner, ES File Explorer, Solid File Explorer
Special thanks to commandersafi for letting me use this. Head over to his page and hit the Thanks button at the very least. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1859221

I've seen some hacks for a few of the other samsung phones that let you add other apps to the multi window view instead of just the built in apps. Just wondering if any one has found a way to do that on our mega 6.3 yet?
you need to be on deodexed rom, it will be easy to mod.
Ok, thank you. I'll wait for a deodexed stock rom to show up.
Still waiting for the ClockWorkMod recovery to work, then we'll be in business..
I kind of knew this coming into this phone as the dev community probably wouldn't be as large as the flag ship phones, but the phone has been really good so far with the exception of the headphone volume being very low.

Correct xposed allows you to install other things besides multi window mod. Also samsung has app called samsung multi pro or something similar to that. It will allow you to do the same but you have to pay for the app. I personally have no experience with it.

Yup, you are right. I tried that app when I first got the phone (after installing the root kernel) and it would keep giving me errors saying i wasn't rooted. I just tried the app again and it works perfectly. Thank you!
Hello all!
Is there any way to PERMANENTLY detach an installed app (that you wish to keep installed) from the Google Play store in order to prevent it from updating or checking for updates? Titanium Backup provides a detach option but for some reason it isn't permanent (lasts hours and/or next reboot).
Thank you!

Get the apk from /data/app and make a copy and put it on /sdcard/. Uninstall from the play store and then install from the apk. Make sure you have unknown sources checked. Then it won't update from the play store because it'll be installed by something other than the play store. I hope this helps.

That just deletes the apps from your previously installed list, it doesnt permanently detach them from the Play store.
AFAIK nothing really works anymore. I have tried myself and can get anything to permanently detach them. The only thing I can think of is to decompile them and take out anything that has to do with the Play store and then recompile them.

For android, go to google plus settings, then account settings for the particular email ID. Then go to Apps with google plus sign in. Disconnect (remember to check app activities).

I like that we can even hide the "Hide Apps" app from drawer and still access it via the Xposed modules section. I also like that you can put an app into a folder on the desktop and then hide it, and it stays in the folder! Very cool.

Technically it can be done for other launchers. But this mod is for GEL only.

Did you try just killing the Google Search App?
new bug fix release v1.0.2
I released a new version which shows the same set of apps as the app drawer of the GEL. This should fix the problem with Google Settings app and others.
Great module
This is an awesome module, great job.
I had this problem, when I hide Google app it hides Google+ also.
oh and hidden apps show again after updating, otherwise all is working fine.
Thanks a lot for making this - I have been waiting for this module since GEL has existed.
The fact that you can hide apps from the drawer but keep any homescreen shortcuts accessible is great - I just have all "computer janitor" stuff like other xposed modules and Hide Apps itself stashed away in a folder now and not cluttering up the app drawer.
Working as described for GEL. Would love an update or a module for Aviate.

Ups, that's embarrassing. I already know what's causing this. Well be fixed asap

Known problem. Will fix that too, but could take some time...
