WHY NOT GET FROM THEIR ROMS AND MAKE EASY AND USEABLE FOR OTHER ANDROIDS UNLIKE OTHER REVERSE TETHERING TOOLS REQUIRING ROOTING AND MANY OTHER DIFFICULTIES ETC....

Hi, I need advise on make Google Android Market work with SmartqV7(Android Tablet).
So far, I only can view app but everytime download fail.
I don't really have much knowledge on Android dev but I manage to make it rooted.
For apply anything to this device, it need to add directly to the rom and flash it. can not use update.zip as normal android phone(because it have 3 OS in it).
I know how to uncompress and re-compress the rom file and able to remove or add any file in to the rom.
So, I think that if I know how Android Market work on the phone. it should be able to apply it for this device also.
Any help will be great.

I wanted to start this post to see if anyone was familiar with the Alps E120L specifically, or at least has any knowledge of rom making for any china phone with MT65xx processor.
I would like to be able to fix a few quirks with the phone I have and see if I can develop a rom.
The help I need, which I feel is encountered the most often and not always answered on the forum are:
1. My china phone is rooted, but the bootloader is locked. How do I unlock it?
2. I can pull the framework-res.apk off my phone, decompile and edit it using any of the apk tools, but I get errors recompiling it every single time. what is the problem here? By the way, I was able to successfully pull the same framework file off of my samsung galaxy tab, edit it, and recompile it with no problems so it is not a problem with me!
3. How do I get the gps on my phone to work without A-GPS? What files are responsible for the GPS to function?
The reason I need to know this is because my GPS doesnt work and I dont know if its because I dont have A-GPS enabled because I dont have a data service. Personally I think either GPS files are missing or they are not programmed correctly. I have edited the gps.config file and no success.
4. How do I get mms settings setup for t-mobile without data plan? I could send picture messages via edge with an old phone but now my new android ics phone does not allow it to be sent. I have tried pulling settings from t-mobile, but to no avail. Again, i dont nor did I ever have a data plan. I dont know if my phone just doesnt support edge or requires an internet connection or t-mobile is blocking the service? My APN settings do not allow for me to select edge as an option, either LTE or eHRPD as a Bearer?
If anyone is willing to help I thank you in advance. Im sure other people have similar questions. I will keep searching the forums for more information as well.

I am creating an application which needs access to root privileges in order to be able to modify Call Manager given in the Android OS framework.
While I have been able to create an sample application with the help of a platform signature, but this solution is ROM-specific and we really need a way to develop an application which works on multiple platforms.
Any ideas/pointers would be deeply appreciated.

I am still looking for an answer, but in the meanwhile I found that sharedUserId uses platform signature for accessing internal/hidden classes.
This is exactly what we have been doing and would like to know if we can have an alternate way to access and modify internal classes without using platform signature.

So call me paranoid, but I have a number of questions on security and log/ user monitoring. A while back I was using my neighbor's network via wifi and long story short I felt almost like my androids apparently were acting funny and since resetting it and using my own 3g network don't seem to have the same issues. I use a LG Phoenix I got new in late 2011. What are some foreign hacking files to look for? I found a file with es file explorer named monkey... long story short what are some log and user monitoring apks that let me see foreign controllers changes and information logs and if my data is going anywhere I can see where its going, and lets me fully secure my phone. Please even if I have to delete factory files my phone is rooted and I use es file explorer not much of a hacker for now. Please understand. Also is there a way to save directly to my Google Drive? Maybe even run apps with data via gdrive? What are some things to check if a hacker added programs to my phone what are some files apks etc to look for thanks. What I meant about downloads is changing my android download directory path to directly automatically by default download to my gdrive cloud, if there's a way please share. Thank You.

I am trying to play a audio ( .pcm/.wav ) file during a live phone call such that the other end can hear it and want to record and save the conversation.
I know , this can not be achieved through android api's, however I am sure there will be some way to achieve this on the rooted phones. I have already rooted my Moto G (2014 ) phone but not sure how can I proceed to achieve this functionality.
Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.

Hi. Did you ever find a solution to this? My app (assistant) is installed as system app, the device is rooted, and can be compiled with hidden and internal classes and methods, so I can use them (like ITelephony and others). From anything you may have found, would you know if it's possible with this in mind? ANY way?
