I hate xperia sola actually because it lags alot i dn't think that it is dual core cell phone because my samsung nexus s also works better then this nexus s is only 1GHZ . So this is the reason i want to change my xperia sola and overclock it

As your bootloader unlock status is :no so you cant over clock or do such things like that as for that you need to have a custom kernel and for custom kernel you need unlocked bootloader but you can root your device try doomlord rooting kit here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1321582

What firmware do you have ICS?
You can overclock maybe to 1.15GHz and that won't help much. You can downgrade to GB it may be better.
What exactly does it say in service config?

My config snap
I've attached the config snap check it

Uninstall Xperia U unwanted apps

Heloo all, i`m from Romania, and i bough a new cell phone from Italy.. I bought an xperia U, but the phone company branded the cell, and now i have a lot of applications that i don`t need, i just wanna remove those apps.
-Virgilio
-119self
-187
-TimeScape
-Configuration Guid
-Tim App
-Cubomusica
-CuboVision
-TimCloud
-MusicUnlimited
-VideoUnlimited
-Music and vide
-PlayNow
-MCAfee Security
Last year i had a Xperia X10 mini pro, and i just had to root the cell, and then unistalled the unwanted apps. Now i have deblocked my Xperia U via fastboot, but now i don`t know what i have to do to unistall those apps. I have to change the ROM ? if that it`s what i have to do, could you please recommand me a clean rom?
Not working, it`s say`s that my Rom is not rooted, and the application will not work, and something named BusyBox, won`t start!

No, not yet, but im sure a dev can fix it. I used that feature on my Xperia X8 so its possible, not impossible to port that feature.
im not into all the technical stuff, but is there enough space on the system partition to store 2 roms on it?
how would this work? will the system partition be split up in 2? will rom no2 be stored on the data partition?
i really cant think of a solution for myself how two roms would fit on the rays internal storage?!
sorry if my questions are kinda offtopic, im just curious how this will work?
and what about the kernel, doesnt have both roms to work with the same kernel?

Yeah, but maybe we can store the rom on the sdcard, it was like that on the X8, the rom was stored on the sdcard.
I think its possible, but we need a developer that fixes it
interesting. guess you have to have a fast sdcard then

Ask sirkay coz he is only the kernel developer. I already asked about this, he said is difficult to do i mpossible is nothing we can do anything if we try hard.

Could've put question marks instead of exclamation marks.. I thought someone got Dual Boot working..
I don't think there's enough interest in this for sirkay to do it. His main focus right now should be getting Jelly Bean ultra-stable, imho. Anyway, it would be cool, but I wouldn't use it, too much of a hassle.

Maybe we can ask nAa to make it avaible for Xperia Ray, because I think he made the CWM port for Xperia Ray, and he also made dualboot for Xperia X8 and X10 Mini.
There's a thread here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1508017
about dualboot on Xperia Play.
I believe sirkay has made a previous port for Play kernel to Ray, perhaps he or someone else can port this one to ray? Or incorprate the feature into an existing ray kernel?
Would be awesome to get something like this running
Any news regarding to Dualboot on xperia ray ? It will by very very usefull to have dual boot on this phone. Have anybody tried to Dualboot from another models ? PLSSSS

Sony Xperia Neo L rooting/recovery/cwm/kernal/rom mega thread needed

Hi
i own a xperia neo L MT25i, i guess plenty of people do now
so calling on all devs/experts to help us pimp our L
so far i have been able to root it thanks to the "finally rooted L" thread, but what good it is if we can unleash further powers :crying:
i desperately need a guide on "how to enter recovery mode in L" and "how to install cwm in L", am sure a lot of L owners will second these
there is a oc kernal as well as a supermodded rom floating around but we cant get to those till we achieve the above
its about time we move on from neo and neo v and show some love for neo L
thanks in advance guys
ps: if help arrives via this thread, kindly keep it strictly to L issues, people looking for neo or neo v guidance please stay away from this

Novice or not novice, search.
It's even written in first post, names of threads, one of it is "finally rooted L", XDA->Neo->General section->"search this forum"(option in upper right part) and search for "finally rooted L" and you will find that thread.

how to install CWM Recovery?
If you are rooted, enable your phone's USB Debugging and then the run install-cwm from this.

The idea is simple. Doomlord kit / root toolkit / unlock bootloader / some device backups , and the most important thing is, a PC to perform all these actions.

U serious???
It would be perfect if I can simply flash P .tft to U.... what about screen resolution for example? 540×960 opposite to 480×854? I know that these 2 phones are similar, but P has 8MPx photo, U only 5Mpx, P has HDMI output, U not....but this can work correctly maybe... But smaller screen resolution in Xperia U is main problem I think...

You can't do that.Even trying flashing any tft files of other device will resulted into brick.
I could offer to brick but i don't own any device.
If there will be a device for i sure will do.
No wrong giving a try.

That must be only accident... I tried too some "impossible" things, but original .tft allways solved an issue. For example now - I'm runnig on 6.1.1.B.1.54, but with kernel 6.1.1.C.1.10...crazy crazyyyyyyyy :cyclops:
Btw I don't understand why Sony will not update Xperia U, a terminal with dual core and less than 1 year life time. About this mobile I have never understood why sony released it in May with Gingerbread while ICS code where avaible since 7 month before.
Actually I'm very disappointed with sony devices for their support like the false promise to update to ics in a couple of month when they took much more time.
I don't get how is it possible that manufacturiers don't understand that with such this behaviours they will lose a lot of customers.
