I misunderstood the post,I apologise!
The battery consumption and misreadings is a known bug that HTC is aware of.the notification icons are fixed,so no they can't be changed, unless using a 3rd party app with the same functionality.

From some reason today, my battery icon will so that I have say 99% battery left for several hours. Normally, I would love that, but when I reboot, the precetage will change to a lower value. After another hour or so, that new precentage is still there. What can I do to fix this??
I am currently running Bi-winning V2
Dl battery calibration grom the market. Charge to 100%-use app to delete battery stats-let it drain completely-charge to full with NO INTERRUPTIONS-repeat.
Lol precentage.

I did that for about a week after flashing the ROM. Everything was working great as of yesterday. I just ran the app again, did not fix the issue.
Try reflashing.

I was planning on doing that as soon as V3 comes out, but just might try it tonight.
How do I avoid this? Happens once a day on all roms.

If it occurs on stock then I'd go get a replacement.
Don't remember what it was like on stock

Mine did this when I was using milocker.. Deleted it and my problem was gone. I would check to see if it may be an app that is causing it.

Come to think of it when using widget locker I had this issue as well. guess it's time to stick with the stock locker.

If you are on stock and not using screen off underclock profiles in setcpu, time for an exchange.
If you want to underclock with setcpu, you need a custom kernel with a fix.
If you are undervolting, you need to learn to read the documentation for the kernel you are using.

Weird. I've been using Widgetlocker for months with no issues .
Ditto. Been using WidgetLocker on UnNamed 2.2.1 for at least 2 months with no issues.
This just happened to me last night, twice. Woke up around 3am, phone was off. Thought nothing of it as my battery was at 20% around 8pm. Plugged it in, turned it on and went back to sleep. Wake up at 8:10 (supposed to be at work at 8!) and phone was off. Hit the power and it showed the phone off battery full screen. I don't have any other lock besides the stock. Been running ICS'd Out since 12/20 with no issues like this. Haven't modified the phone at all for the past 2 weeks (last was update to 1/2 DD) exept for installing current widget. Has anyone had any issues with current widget causing this? Or is there possibly a way to tell why(how) the phone was shut off?
Hey all. I just tried Skype on my phone for the 2nd time today and was told that my image was green. The first time it was on the vzw network so i assumed there was a bandwidth issue however today I was on wifi.
Looking it up on Google it seems to be an issue with HTC phones on ICS and the Skype app. Has anyone found a fix for this or must we wait until JB?

That's odd. My skype is working 100% fine... I am on ViperLTE 1.0.0. Try deleting the data for the app. May be it is something with the latest OTA if you are on that.
Its supposedly an issue with HTC phones which would explain why yours works fine.

Is it possible the camera settings would affect color? Try setting your White Balance to compensate for the color temp of the lighting where you're located during the call. I suspect this might be the source of the problem.

Hi friends, I have a big problem. When I shut down my s3 and open it after 8 hours, my battery discharged about % 12 -15 t,that is, my S3 is discharging when it shut down. Now i ama using Turkbey rom v17 but i have the same problem with 4.0.4 and 4.1.1
What can you say about my problem?
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
It doesn't discharge when off, it's a problem with battery calibration when on. Try to shut it off and on immediately and you'll see the same.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app

Hi everyone, a while ago my phone's battery started draining very, very quickly. Even with the screen off pretty much all the time and no apps running, the battery drained within 3 to 4 hours or so. So I bought a new, 3500mah battery (old one was around 1400). This increased the battery life but it still drained for no reason. I updated my ROM several times but it didn't fix it. Any help?

Which ROM/Kernel are you using?
A standard CM10.1 ROM with the included kernel.

thats a pretty steep curve. Can you post the second screen where it shows what apps consume the most batttery?
Android OS might be the thing thats using the battery. Also, look at the top and bottom of the graph. The first and last percent take way longer to deplete.
