So my HTC ran out of battery last night, and I left it overnight to charge (red light was showing up).
So I turn it on this morning, and nothing happens. I unplug it from charger and red light is still on, and when I held down powerbutton the home and back buttons would blink, but phone would not come on.
So I read online and tried the home+vol button trick under a bright light and the red light did go away, but nothing else happened.
Now when I press power button nothing happens, not even the home/back button come up.
When I plug it in to the computer I see a driver for QHUSB_DLOAD failing to load. And if I hold down power button and volume while connected to PC, I can hear it "unplugging and replugging" noise from pc.
So is my phone bricked? This was NOT rooted, it was simply the stock device.
I really just want the pictures I have on there, is there any way to get that data back?

I just tried to boot in to the boot loader by holding down the volume-down button while doing a reset from android (power button, tap reset) - I know it's not the right way but I was just trying it. Anyway, now my phone won't turn on. I've tried taking out the battery, putting it back in, booting to the boot loader by holding down volume-down and then holding down the power button, but I get no vibration, nothing. The screen just stays dark.
Orange light comes on when plugged in to charger. When I plug it in to my PC (Windows 7) I get a USB connect sound which is like three low notes in quick succession and then when I unplug I get the USB disconnect sound (higher note then low note).
Any ideas?
Phone is HTC Desire X in case it's not obvious by being posted in this thread.
Thanks
Try a longer press approx for 30 seconds

Phone was running LP Pacman rom and did fine for several weeksbut then started bootlooping for no apparent reason. Now it bootloops if I plug in the charger cable or hold down both volume keys or the volume down key even if I dont press the power button. If I press the power button by itself without plugging in the charger cable it doesn't do anything. When I take out and put in the battery the "SAMSUNG" logo come on momentarily but then nothing. I cant get it into recovery or download mode and Odin doesn't see the phone. I didn't drop the phone or get it wet or anything. Any ideas? does this sound like a hardware problem with the power button?

update: ok after many tries i been able to flash it with flashtool with that D6503_23.5.A.1.291.ftf
but still can't turn it on
when i connect the charger it show charging like 18% and when i leave it for while it show 0%
i disconnect the charger try to open nothing
then connect the charger again it shows 25% and i leave it for few seconds then it shows 100% but when i try to press the power button it shows empty charging battery icon while the phone is still off
what could be the reason ?
ok i manage to flash it with stock firmware
but still turning off randomly or restart randomly
and when it turned off i can't turn it on again unless i connect it to charger and when i do it keep blinking red led and sony logo on and off
is that hardware failure or battery failure or software failure ?

Sorry for delay, as you said, It's faulty battery.
hi there, just last night i was on my MI a3 . Its battery hit the 1% mark and after flashing the "shutting down" screen it turned off.
I plugged the charger in and went to sleep. I have tried the power on button, power + volume up/volume down/ both. The white notification led blinks slowly and nothing else happens ( maybe battery is low?)
After many tries of trying to power it on and not getting to any boot animation(just a off screen) all i got was blinking leds. I tried plugging it in ,upon which the same notification led starts blinking (faster than when trying to power on), i also did not get the powered off charging animation ,screens off and blinking notification leds.
Ive switched chargers ,verified that this charger works (on another phone) and now im all out of ideas.
Thanks for any help in advance
How long do you keep holding power + volume down buttons? Try to press them for more than 30 secs.
