Can you help me to solve this important problem ?
I have this important problem that the last I flashed wrong rom ST18i (xperia pro), I used SK17i, when I update "xperia ultimate 5.0" Xperia pro => touchscreen is not working and hardkey too
I have followed all thread about solving this problem but I can't recover.
If I update xperia active in "xperia ultimate 2.0", my touch screen is working but hardkey is not working.

can i use the stock rom instead of revolution ics hd....
cause i tried this and the foen is lagging ... i mean its good for nothing...
can u help me with some new solution...

Use PC companion or Sony update service, to repair your software.

The thread you needed is sticky in general section, you could have found him with quick look..
He should root and backup with CWM before wiping it clean. At least he can partially backup his data partition, just saying.

I think same problem is mentioned in this thread(solved)...just go through the steps mentioned and you might be successful.

Did OP tried this solution? did it worked? i m having the same problem and my device is not even rooted... i just tried to update my phone from Ginger bread to ICS... and my screen touch is not working after the update took place...

Have you tried flashing the stock firmware for the xperia active (st17) and booting it up? After that flashing the stock firmware for your phone? Some users reported this works. Here's the guy who used this method
By the way what is your native language? Maybe you could write a private message to somebody who speaks your language :good:

This is for unbricking the device, not for the touchscreen. This is for a wrong custom rom installation if it won't boot

Ok, try this way too maybe can fix it ..... I fixed 5 phone with this way
1.Go search and download 4.0.2.A.0.42_CE ( its xperia active stock rom st17i)
2. Flash it on ur device
3.boot it u have touch but not correctly
4.Download ur 4.0.2.A.0.62 stock rom and flash it back
It may fix ur touch

this method did not work .
same prob. and until now my xperia mini st15i is unusable ... imiss my phone huhu i miss playing temple run.. dead trigger huhuhuhuhu and i follow the method above and its not worked to my xperia mini huhuhu im afraid to go in SC and i think it will be so expensive huhu

Use Sony Xperia SEUS tout reset your phone to stock rom then flash again.

Sorry, i dont want that. I want flash Ultimate HD 2.0.2 but i see 2.0.3 and i throught its an update version.

i tried but it didnt work, my friend!
you can factory reset and boot into recovery and reflash Ultimate rom
ps. I use ultimate rom too

ei! We're exactly in the same situation and I am yet to find the solution to our problem. I have tried so many suggested fix in this forum (mostly for xperia mini) but nothing works, Maybe because they are not exactly in the same situation as us.
Hope some hardcore dev help us.. hehe:silly:
Have you tried flashing stock active rom, boot that and flash the rom for your device again? There was a guy who reported this would work

i know how it feels when yur phone is dead... i flashed a kernel dis nite & my phone refused to boot up, not even entering CWM nor flash/fast boot mode but was able to solve it after so many trials!:highfive:

Mine is something very strange, the telephone ignites, the touch works quite less, the rom installs again that mostre initially but the touch works but uncalibrated... Then it is strange, I believe that I will give it dead and it will not search mas nicely he treads on papers
- I am going to look later that to do with this, makes me slightly sad 2 years with the cellular one to the garbage, really I am grateful very much your time, my telephone if tape-worm enters CWM a safety copy, restore it but it is still equal, in end nothing works
