Hello everyone,
I hope many of you have seen me around here on xda participating in different forums and threads,replying to question,helping fellow members and all those..
I had been a great fanatic of 240dpi roms in 4.1.2. But as soon as I upgraded to 4.3,i missed my 240dpi roms. This isn't any issue for ME because I changed my lcd density to 240dpi, changed Sammy apps to 320 res in xposed and done! But there were some apps that couldn't be run in 240dpi so I requested devs to modify those apps..there wasn't any response so I decided to mod them myself.Currently I've only been able to mod TW launcher and Keyboard but I'll try to mod more.
I got many FC's and errors in modding since its freaking difficult! so I took help from @fake_japanese_guy to mod the app. I decompiled his app and stock app and compared them side by side.I went through many guides and modding tuts and finally succeeded.

240dpi keyboard is finally working! Thanks to @fake_japanese_guy for this..There is some layout issue but its totally working fine. I am still working on this to make it perfect.If you can't wait and eager to use,use this mod till then. I made it flashable so you don't need to delete previous keyboard or delete data folder.
Screenshots-

1.Download the zip file and place it in your sd-card
2.Reboot in recovery(philz recommended)
3.Navigate to downloaded file and choose to flash
4.Done!
This zip file will delete your previous Sammy keyboard, delete data/data/com.input folder and wipe dalvik cache..so you don't need to do anything other than choosing zip

Not tried it yet but will check after decompiling it
did u tried it setting resolution to default and dpi to 320?

Yes it may look at but ugly indeed, until now I was using Nova with 120% bigger icons and that made it better looking on 240 dpi can you do the same, to make icons look bigger?
what you can do about the dialer, to make it 240 dpi compatible?

Keyboard multi dpi mod is bit difficult but i'll try my level best..
But instead of sammy keyboard, i prefer LG G2 keyboard which has got nice ui and exclusive emojis! Moreover it has got handwriting recognition too!

I'm loving the stock feel too. Haven't thought about tinkering with a custom rom as yet..usually I root within hours of buying.Not with this

With all resolution I tried, 1440x1280, 1600x1200, I cannot set the whole wallpapers for the Home Screen, just part of the wallpapers and I think its quality decrease a lot. It's strange when Note got the same resolution with my previous One X. Anyone know why is that?

On the bottom there ar set of 5 sets those are perfect full screen wallpapers...rest all are random assorted ones..... try the sets in bottom

Ok, because I think the screen space is wasted with the normal launcher I made up on with a 5x5 Home Screen grid and a 5x6 App drawer. This is my preferred combo...
To install this you need to be rooted and have a file manager with root access such as ES File Manager.
WARNING! Most Touchwiz widgets will not work well with this mod!
Installation
Temporarily install another launcher while doing this
Unzip the file and copy it over to the SD Card somwwhere
Copy SecLauncher3.apk and Odex to a folder on Storage for safe keeping.
Now Copy the new SecLauncher3.apk to the /system/app directory and delete the SecLauncher3.odex file. (If you installed the De-Odex mod you wont have the odex file)
Reboot
Set default back to TouchWiz Launcher
Enjoy!

We dont have recovery for AT&T so you will need to follow the instructions in the OP.
Working great here. Cant wait to get some clean rom on here. That is what I miss the most from my Note 2

Yes, touchwiz for me is amazing. God, i loved your ROM for the Note 2, because the mods for the more space in the homescreen without messing the widgets lol, again, hope to see your ROM for this one.

Yeah, the only widget that doesnt work right is the Weather widget which is fine because I use HD Widgets and would much rather have the screen be utilized to its potential.

Any shot of a 4x5 version of this so Sammy widgets would work correctly? I'd be interested in an ODEX version of a 4x5. OK, not so much interested, I'd be running it if such a beast existed.
Should this work on other carriers? With TouchWiz based roms? I am running the Team Sonic FreeGS4 rom on US Sprint... any guesses as to the chances i brake something if I do this?

@OP, thanks for sharing. this is definitely easier for me to see the keys. . however, i had to uninstall because the first letter of every word i type is being capitalized like this, "Hi How Are You". i cleared data but it didn't help. thanks again.

Perhaps making it a VRTheme that only updates the targeted changes will avoid the issues that seem to be appearing?
Like I did in post 2 of this thread:
VRtheme for Keyboard
or
Here for a tangerine Keyboard which changes the key colors
That would also allow your theme to work still if Samsung updates the keyboard or a dev does (unless they change a targeted xml file, but the odds are good they won't)

Really like this theme. Quite colourful and refreshing look.
Would be great if you could design a theme with minimal icons (like only the white outline of the icons being present) and dark wallpaper, which would look even better on the AMOLED display?

Do you have Eclipse and smali knowledge? If no then the easiest way is just decompile my app and replace icons with yours in drawable folder. Then recompile app and sign it. Try this and report.
PM me ur compiled apk if you face any trouble. I'll fix it.

actually i just opened up your apk with 7 zip and dragged and dropped my set of icons ( 144x 144) and wallpapers with same name as yours. but while installing it went through the long process of installing and said at the end - app not installed :cyclops:
i deleted that so let me try again

I am making a theme by the icon replacing method you told. It shall be ready in 1-2 days.
But before recompiling it, I need some info :
1) Will the apk work if I just recompile as is is withput doing anything else?
2) If signing the apk is important, how do I do it? I don't have knowledge of code or ADB right now, so apktool is quite a task for me. I use apkstudio for my tasks at the moment.

Signing apk is now possible on android devices also...just search zip signer app from play store. Very easy in use..
If you dont want to repalce package name or apk name..then no need to do any thing....just replace icon as mentioned by mannyvinny...and recompile apk..done.

This is Multi DPI launcher and it will only change the DPI of launcher when you make changes on DPI for example if you change DPI on textdroider (available on playstore) 640 (default) to 480dpi that when it changes the DPI of your device.

What are the changes you made ?
Which Rom are you on ?
No changes. Install recovery, boot into it, flash 2 zips (TW and keyboard). Both are successfully flashed. TW stopped, keyboard exists (see screenshot).
As for ROM, no custom are made for my variant (N910S)
