I've already tried (re)installing the drivers and removing driver signatures in windows 8 x64. Moreover, changing the USB ports and cable didn't work either. What am I doing wrong? The command "ADB Devices" works when the phone is on and in debugging mode. But once I run it in fastboot, I can't get past this screen.
Thanks in advance. :victory:

Either fastboot is not installed or you never created a path in environmental variables to it.

Try .\fastboot . Don't know how close dos is to bash though
Edit: backslash on win, / on Linux. How did I forget that?

adb driver should be installed properly but my ARC 7 HD doesnt get recognized. When I try to do a manual driver installation (with boot options) my google driver still gets rejected because of it incompatiblity to x64 systems.
Can you recommend me another driver or installation routine?! My Kobo is rooted and in debug mode.
edit: my asus tf101 gets recognized
edit edit: when the kobo pad is in recovery mode it gets regognized, but not booted
Thanks and regards
solved: Installed the recovery with Rashr, also got adb over wifi running. Sadly there is no Kitkat or cyanogen mod available for this pad. I would like to get rid of these reader tools....
hope this helps!

You should use CMD instead of powershell to run adb commands

Just do exactly what it says: use ".\adb" instead of just "adb" that will work just fine.
I tried it on Linux device, Windows device, and Android Bugjaeger. In all of them, the phone is detected when the device is turned on, but when I put the device in fastboot mode, the device is not detected. How Can I Solve?
PS: Sorry for my bad English
Are you using latest fastboot drivers?
Can you see the device in device manager?
Does it maybe need to install drivers?

Greetings mate. First of all, sorry for posting late. In a way that I don't understand, the device does not detect it in Fastboot mode, but it does in Fastbootd mode. This is how I solved the problem.
